“90 Day: The Single Life” Star Cortney Reardanz & Her 66-Year-Old Boyfriend Phil are Engaged After Three Months of Dating

“Here’s to many happy years together and hopefully at least two more spin-off appearances!”

The single life is no more for Cortney Reardanz and her boyfriend, Phil!

Fans of 90 Day Fiancé met 66-year-old Phil last week on 90 Day: The Single Life as he shared that he not only opened his home to his 35-year-old girlfriend Cortney, but also to Cortney’s ex-boyfriend Colt Johnson. Last week, the episode teased a confrontation between the three over Colt overstaying his welcome at Phil’s house; Colt stayed to undergo surgery on his broken leg, but after he was able to walk again, Cortney expressed that it was time for him to go.

Prior to Monday’s episode, Us Weekly shared a clip in which Phil was seen taking a big step in his (early) relationship with Cortney.

“The last three months have been very nice together,” he said. “I think we should go to the next level of our relationship. I love you. I want to be with you forever. Will you marry me?”

Cortney enthusiastically accepted and asked her husband-to-be, “How quickly are we going to get married?” Phil was up to tying the knot the next day, though Cortney insisted on the two planning a special celebration.

“I just want to enjoy the whole process and not feel stressed,” she explained. “But I don’t want to wait too long.”

Phil assured Cortney that they’ll “make it happen this year.”

“I waited a long time for this chapter,” Cortney told Us Weekly. “After almost 10 years of sharing parts of my life on ’90 Day Fiancé’ and a whole lot of dating lessons along the way, I can finally say I found my person.”

“Couldn’t this have happened BEFORE I resorted to ‘dating’ Colt on TV for the world to see?!”

“I am 35 and engaged for the first time, and honestly, it feels worth the wait,” she added.

Cortney told Phil that he’s “what [she’s] been envisioning or waiting for all these years,” noting that she doubted she’d ever find “the one” after many failed relationships– two of which fans got to watch on “90 Day Fiancé.”

“I’ve just waited so long to meet a good man,” Cortney said. “I picture my life. Am I ever going to get engaged? Am I ever going to get married? Am I ever going to find my person? I feel like I just kept going through heartbreak after heartbreak.”

In an Instagram post on Monday, Cortney and Phil shared that “the secret is out,” confirming that they’re currently busy with wedding planning, traveling and “enjoying retired life with [their] little turtles and [their] sanctuary.”

The future Mr. and Mrs. are living together in Florida– seemingly without Colt.

“Is it too soon to ask for a plus one for your wedding?”

“ … Life right now is wedding planning, house hunting, traveling, theme parks, good food and enjoying life together,” Cortney wrote in the caption of her post.

Many fans of “90 Day Fiancé” are rejoicing that Cortney found love after her trainwreck of a relationship with Colt, which started (according to her timeline) just six months before her engagement to Phil.

“What a crazy journey,” Cortney said in a confessional. “It’s been a chaotic six months. I went to a singles retreat in Mexico, Colt broke his leg, he was living with me and my parents [and] sending jerk off videos to other women.

“Please don’t remind us…we still have to live in that home.”

“He goes to Brazil, he comes back to have surgery, I move into my boyfriend’s house, we kick him out,” she continued.

Tale as old as time…

“And then it’s like, now I’m here. I think the universe finally rewarded me some good karma,” she added.

Cortney shared more details about her and Phil’s relationship on Tuesday, telling fans in an Instagram Q&A that her parents approve of the pair’s romance, despite their large age gap.

“They think he’s a good man,” Cortney wrote. “My mom is concerned he will die before me & I’ll be sad. She wanted someone I can ‘grow old with’ but I explained a lot of younger men cheat/divorce/abandon their families etc. So a younger man doesn’t guarantee we will grow old together.”

Cortney also shared that while Phil, who has never been married, is already a dad and a grandfather, he’s “open” to having more children with her.

“I always envisioned kids,” Cortney wrote. “But I don’t think I want kids any more.. the pain, worrying, chores, exhaustion etc. Phil has 4 adult sons and 3 granddaughters. He’s open to kids if I want them.”

New episodes of “90 Day: The Single Life” air Mondays on TLC. Watch a clip from Phil’s proposal to Cortney below.
