Another 90 Day Fiancé couple has failed to go to the distance, as Birkan Kuzoren and Laura Nevenner of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 8 have reportedly called it quits.
According to the fan page @90DayFianceUpdates, Laura seemingly confirmed in a series of DMs recently that she and her fiancé have gone their separate ways, while also revealing that Birkan has been “called to complete his mandatory service in the Turkish military.”
“We’ve known about this for a while, and it is a sad situation for sure,” Laura said, adding in another message that Birkan will be required to serve six to 12 months in the Turkish military.
While Laura– who confirmed that she is currently still under an NDA– opted not to reveal the current status of her and Birkan’s relationship in the DM exchange, she didn’t deny the rumors that the two had broken up. Additionally, Birkan recently told fans on his Instagram Story that he and Laura were no longer together, claiming their split was due to “life changes, world changes, worldview changes.”
“Let’s just say I have a bigger cause than my desire now,” he added, presumably referring to his upcoming military service.
Fans were introduced to 26-year-old Birkan and 47-year-old Laura on the most recent season of ‘Before the 90 Days,’ where it was explained that just weeks after meeting on social media, the two were already discussing marriage.
Throughout the season, viewers watched the pair face issues stemming from Birkan’s massive gambling debt and Laura’s complicated relationship with her friend/pickleball-partner, Michal– both of which the couple had (mostly) moved on from by last month’s Tell-All, as Birkan and Laura confirmed at the time that they were still together.
As fans may remember, Michal insisted during Part 1 of the Tell-All that while he was happy for Birkan and Laura, he (accurately) predicted the two would not work out in the long run.
During an Instagram Q&A on Friday, Laura told fans that she has no intention of reconciling her friendship with Michal, though she insists that she’s “living rent free in his head.”
Laura also revealed to fans during the Q&A how she deals with the negative comments online about her “weight gain and break up.”
“People online will comment on anything – your body, your relationship, your healing,” she wrote. “Meanwhile, I’m still out here living my life while they’re sitting in my comments.
“And heartbreak?” Laura continued. “Most people have been through it… mine just happened publicly.”
