The ’90 Day’ Bad Boys are no more.
Earlier this week, “90 Day: Hunt for Love” star and franchise nepo baby Jamal Menzies broke the news to fans that he is no longer friends with Rob Warne. During anInstagram Q&A with fans, Jamal addressed his fallout with Rob, while also fielding questions about his mom Kim Menzies and new love interest Emma Perry.
For those out of the loop, Rob and Jamal became friends through their mutual friend and fellow “90 Day” alum Josh Weinstein. Josh and Rob met on Season 2 of “The Last Resort” when Rob was fighting for his marriage with Sophie Sierra and Josh was looking to define his relationship with Natalie Mordovtseva. After both relationships ended, Josh– who is close with Kim– introduced Rob and Jamal and they formed what they call the 90 Day Bad Boys.
The 90 Day Bad Boys have their own cringetastic Instagram page where they make music videos featuring other “90 Day” stars like Gino Palazzolo, Darcey & Stacey Silva, and Sarper Guven.

However, back in May, Jamal posted (then deleted) an Instagram Reel announcing that he would be stepping away from the Bad Boys to focus on “following [his] own path.” Afterward, Josh made a post in support of Jamal, saying that he “has the ability to shine like no other,” but Rob was noticeably silent and didn’t respond to Josh’s post.
The Bad Boys kept Jamal’s exit under wraps and didn’t discuss the details behind his departure, but fans began to realize something was up in recent months. On the “90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days” Season 8 Tell-All, Emma revealed that after she and ex-boyfriend Ziad El Yahyaoui broke up, she began hooking up with Rob on the side. It was later revealed that Emma would be appearing on Season 2 of “Hunt for Love” with Jamal and discussed the love triangle on the premiere episode.
“I knew Jamal was going to be here because I told Rob in secret that I was coming here,” Emma explained in a confessional. “And then, Rob told both of us.”
Emma went on to reveal that she and Jamal hooked up two days before coming to the retreat, despite her still being involved with Rob.
“I thought it was a great night,” she said. “I think we both enjoyed every single second.”
Jamal also acknowledged his connection with Emma despite her connection to Rob.
“Emma is exactly my type, but she’s hooked up with my friend Rob, and our friendship means a lot,” he said. “So, I really do feel like I need to stay away from Emma, but at the same time, I’m a weak man when it comes to temptation.”
Jamal’s new update didn’t disclose many new details, but he did make a point of saying that the fallout between him and Rob was not over Emma.
“A lot of people have been asking me about Rob, and I’m sure a lot of people have asked Rob about me and what happened between us,” he said. “A lot of people are speculating that it’s because of Emma, and all I feel like I should say is there’s a lot more to the story.”
“I think there were a lot of things built up over time. Me and Rob are very different as people and we just don’t see things the same,” he claimed. “We had a really awesome relationship and I’m not going to sit here and bash Rob, I never plan on doing that. Whatever he chooses to do is on him.”
He went on to clarify that although he’s left the 90 Day Bad Boys, he and Josh still maintain a good relationship.
“Me and Josh are still friends, and Josh and Rob are still friends, but me and Rob are not friends. Josh is like a brother to me and when brothers fight, they should always be able to talk things out and deal with it, so that’s just what it is.”
Jamal is coming under fire, with fans claiming that he’s downplaying his player behavior and disrespecting “bro-code.” Fans have been quick to point out Jamal’s history with the “90 Day” franchise– including Veronica Rodrigues, Liz Woods, and (allegedly) Rob’s ex-wife Sophie– to show that he’s not exactly looking to protect his friendships.
(Fans are also talking about Jamal’s actions that led to his one-night stand with Emma, claiming that his wording and actions were “passive” and “predatory.” Although this behavior hasn’t been directly associated with his fallout with Rob, some people are wondering if Rob decided to distance himself when he noticed this pattern. Rob, Josh and Emma have yet to respond to Jamal’s claims, but Emma and Jamal continue to post social media content together as their relationship develops.
