Unexpected star Isabella Leal-Stone took to social media this week to express her concern for Season 7 castmate Bella Vaughn, whom she claims is being raised by a “f**king psycho.”
The 19-year-old shared her candid take on Bella’s mom, Falen Vaughn, while talking to fans on TikTok Live this week. At one point during the Live, Isabella was asked about her friendship with Bella, to which she revealed that she recently reached out to the now-16-year-old, but had not received a response. She also expressed how sorry she felt that Bella had to grow up with a mom like Falen.
“ … I’m praying for [Bella], her mom’s f**king psycho,” Isabella added.
As fans of ‘Unexpected’ know, Bella and her now-14-year-old baby daddy, Hunter Johnson, appear on the current season of the TLC series. Criticism surrounding the couple only grew after Bella revealed on social media in January that she was 14 when her son Wesley was conceived and Hunter was just 12.

Bella’s parents, Falen and Kris Vaughn, have also received a fair share of criticism from fans due to the fact that Bella’s sister, Emi, is also a teen parent and because the two allowed their young daughter’s pregnancy to be documented on TV and social media. More recently, fans watched on ‘Unexpected’ as Bella stated that her mom Falen wouldn’t allow her to end her relationship with Hunter– a moment that Isabella addressed this week on Live.

“ … like, how are you gonna tell your daughter, ‘You can’t break up with your boyfriend,’ that’s like, that’s bizarre to me,” Isabella said, after telling fans she doesn’t know why Bella remains so close to Falen, as she “wouldn’t be able to” do that if she were Bella.
When asked by someone in the comments to explain what exactly is “wrong” is Bella and Falen, Isabella encouraged the person to “watch the show,” before clarifying that her issue is with Bella’s mom, not Bella herself.
“Nothing’s wrong with Bella, I genuinely feel bad for the girl,” she said.

Isabella went on to admit that she’s unsure if Falen is actually the person she appears to be on ‘Unexpected,’ or if the show is just portraying her in a certain light. Regardless, Isabella confirmed that she isn’t a Falen fan.
“I really dislike her, too, [and] I feel bad for her daughter,” she said. “That’s all I’m gonna say. I’m praying for that girl. I hope when she turns 18, she runs as far away as she can get.”
Isabella also noted in her Live that Hunter’s mom, Stacie Riddle– who also appears on ‘Unexpected’– needs to be careful, presumably of Falen. (As The Ashley previously reported, Hunter’s dad, Casey Johnson– who isn’t on the show– has obtained a court order forbidding his 14-year-old son from shacking up with his teenage girlfriend/baby mama.)
As you may recall, Falen began leaning into her role as ‘Unexpected’ grandma prior to the Season 7 premiere by adding the show to her various social media bios and making a formal announcement to fans that her family would be joining the TLC series and hosting watching parties on Live once the episodes began airing.

In January, Bella defended her parents online amid fans questioning why Falen appeared to be building a platform off of her daughter’s pregnancy. In her video, Bella argued that her mom already had a social media presence before Bella was expecting a baby. Bella also insisted that her parents weren’t to blame for her becoming a teen mom, as the two “have done everything” for her and continue to support her “in every single way” now that she has child of her own.
“It’s not a parenting issue when a teen gets pregnant always,” Bella stated.
