In a new multi-part Patreon series, Kail Lowry and her former fiancé Elijah Scott relive the highs and lows of their relationship, which ended in 2025 after it was revealed that Elijah had cheated on the mom of seven while on a cruise the previous year. 

Part 1 of the “Sitting Down with Elijah” Patreon series kicked off with Kail and Elijah discussing the early days of their relationship, as well as their dynamic after welcoming three children. As you know, Kail and Elijah welcomed son Rio in late 2022, followed by twins Verse and Valley in November 2023. Kail also shares 16-year-old son Elliott with ex Jo Rivera, 12-year-old son Lincoln with ex-husband Javi Marroquin and sons Lux and Creed with Chris Lopez. 

While Kail and Elijah were once engaged to be married, things soon went south with the happy couple after a woman on TikTok posted videos in March 2025 claiming that she had slept with Elijah in May 2024 while they were both on a cruise. Kail went on to end things with Elijah and has since moved on to her latest live-in lover, boyfriend Ike Knighton. 

Kail explained to listeners this week that she and Elijah were “ready to address everything head on,” noting that it has been two years since the actual cheating incident and one year since it was “completely basted all over the internet.” 

According to Kail, after she found out she was pregnant with Rio, Elijah– who was Kail’s neighbor– moved in and began renting out his home. This was also around the time that Kail left Teen Mom 2 and when she was experiencing “prenatal depression,” which prompted Elijah to help out more with Kail’s (then) four kids. 

“The way I was raised and brought up, we don’t like seeing the person you’re dealing with struggle,” Elijah said. “So while you’re struggling, I said, ‘I need to step up more,’ because one, the kids don’t have anything to do with what you have going on. So I stepped up more, helped around with the kids as much as I could. I mean, it was rough going to work early, coming home late and still trying to make sure everything is done at the house. And also making sure that you’re okay and that Rio was okay and everything else.” 

Kail acknowledged that this “was a really rough time” for both her and Elijah, noting that there were days when she was “not functional at all” due to perinatal depression. Meanwhile, she said “Elijah just pushed through” and continued to show up.

Fast forward to after Kail and Elijah’s twins Verse and Valley were born, Kail said she reached out to Elijah’s brother to ask if he wanted to go on a cruise with Elijah on her dime. Kail said she felt that Elijah deserved the trip and she hoped the getaway would provide an opportunity for the father of three to recharge. 

“Elijah didn’t want to go,” Kail told listeners. “He never wanted to go. He tried to back out a couple times and I said I wasn’t going to accept that because he had been devoting all of his time and energy to us. So I was not having it. I was like, ‘You’re going on this trip.’”  

Although Elijah said he believed his and Kail’s relationship was good “for the most part” at that time, he admitted there were “a couple of issues” going on.

“It wasn’t just sex,” Elijah told Kail. “I told you numerous times before with all of the stuff we had going on, I always felt that I put you and the kids first. Did I feel like I got that in return? No. Every time I brought it up to you, you would say, ‘I feel the opposite. It’s the kids, then you, then yourself.’ But in reality, it was the kids, yourself and then me. Basically I just took care of everything and didn’t complain. That was basically it.” 

Kail said in hindsight, she agrees with Elijah, recalling that her “career exploded” around this time. Still, Kail said she felt that she and Elijah had an “unspoken agreement” that her career had to come first in order for her to provide for her family and she gave Elijah credit for never fighting her on the matter. 

“ … it was literally the kids, work, myself, Elijah,” she said. “He never fought with me one time. Never once did he complain about making dinner or cleaning the house. We didn’t fight. But we also didn’t talk. We also didn’t have deep, intimate conversations. We weren’t being intimate. It felt like we were roommates. You wanted the relationship and the intimacy and my head was just not in it. So my career’s exploding and Elijah is cheering me on but I’m not meeting his wants, or his needs, or his desires.” 

While Kail said none of this gave Elijah an excuse to cheat, she admitted that she “had a hand in this” and said she can see “how he was tempted and fell into temptation.” 

Meanwhile, Elijah admitted that there were times in his and Kail’s relationship when he felt alone. 

“The kids would go every other week,” Elijah explained. “When they would go to their dads, I would say, ‘Can we do something when they go to their dads?’ I would have childcare set up for our three babies, I would put it in the calendar, but your work schedule is your work schedule.

“At times, I did feel alone, because the times when we didn’t have the other kids, by the time we got around to doing something for us, it’s time to get them back,” he continued. “So we just sit in the house … and if we are sitting in the house, the babies are with us so we didn’t ever have alone time.”  

“I definitely look back and see how I was not really supportive of you other than financially,” Kail replied. “And I don’t really know why because looking back, there’s nothing you didn’t support me in. 

“You helped me with the kids, you helped me with the household, you helped with the cooking, you supported me for work trips,” she continued. “I don’t know other than pure selfishness. I don’t really know why.”
