‘Unexpected’ Star Hunter Johnson Defends Falen Vaughn & Says He Doesn’t Want to Be Around His Dad Casey; Falen Responds to Casey’s Petition for Custody of Baby Wes

“Leave Falen alooooone!”

Hunter Johnson has been at the center of a messy custody battle and a whole lot of controversy thanks to his appearance on the current season of Unexpected and now the teen dad is speaking out.

As The Ashley previously told you, Hunter’s dad Casey is battling Hunter’s mom Stacie Riddle, as well as Falen Vaughn (the mother of Hunter’s girlfriend Bella) in court for custody of both Hunter and Wes– the one-year-old son of Bella and Hunter. Casey has claimed in court docs that Stacie and Bella’s parents have created an “unstable and unwholesome environment” for Hunter, while he’s maintained a stable home for the 14-year-old.

However, in a new TikTok video posted to Hunter’s account on Wednesday, he revealed that he doesn’t want to live with his dad. He also defended Falen against his dad’s (and fans’) accusations. Also on Wednesday, Falen filed a legal response to Casey’s bid for custody of Baby Wes.“Well, this is my side of things since everyone’s thinking that Bella’s family is making me do everything,” Hunter said, before going on to talk about why he doesn’t like staying at his dad’s home.”

(Currently, Hunter’s parents have 50/50 temporary custody of him, meaning Hunter lives with his dad for a week, then his mom for a week, etc. Hunter’s dad is trying to get full custody of Hunter with his newly filed motions, though.)

“I do not like being at my dad’s,” Hunter said. “There is no food there. It’s disgusting. I don’t like being around him.”

Hunter went on to accuse his dad of getting physical with him years ago.

“He pinned me up the wall by my throat when I was little,” he stated. “Scared.”

Hunter claimed that he was “videoed” by his little sister who lives there when he was getting into the shower.

“Everyone’s thinking that it’s Bella’s family [who is bad] but it’s not,” he said. “That’s really how I feel.”

Next, Hunter addressed the fan theory that Falen is a little too interested in her daughter’s teen boyfriend.

“This is all totally normal…isn’t it?”

“Falen is not obsessed with me,” Hunter said. “She’s been one of the only people who have actually taken care of me besides my mom, and I like her like she’s my mom.”

Hunter turned the comments off for his video. (You can watch it below.)

As The Ashley previously reported, Casey asked a judge earlier this month to ban Hunter from being around the Vaughns unless he is present to supervise. Casey is also suing Falen for custody of one-year-old Wes

On Wednesday, Falen filed a response to Casey’s petition for custody of the baby, denying nearly all of Casey’s claims, including that there is “clear and convincing evidence” that it is in the best interest of Wes that Casey be awarded custody of the baby.

“You ain’t takin’ the baby, ya hear?!”

She also denied that her home “lacks appropriate supervision and structure” that Bella and Hunter need to raise Wes. (She demanded that Casey provide proof of this claim.)

Falen also denied Casey’s claim that Bella has been allowed to participate in “public social media activity and discussions of a sexualized or otherwise mature nature.” (This is interesting, given that fans of the show have watched as Bella and Falen have discussed anal sex, “raw-dogging” sex without protection, and Hunter and Bella showering together, just to name a few things. These topics have also been discussed on TikTok Live and in videos posted to the Vaughns’ social media accounts.)

“I have no idea what’s going on. Just tell me when it’s over…”

She denies that she allowed Hunter and Bella to have “inappropriate actions and a lack of structure” immediately after Wes’ birth. Falen also denied that she has restricted Hunter’s access to parenting Wes.

Falen went on to deny the rest of Casey’s claims, including that Wes should live with him and Hunter at his house, and that Wes will have a “stable and appropriately supervised environment” if he is living with Casey’s family.

Falen also denied that Wes’ last name should be changed to Johnson.

In her response, Falen asked the judge to dismiss Casey’s petition for custody and requested that Casey have to pay her attorney’s fees.

Stay tuned…

  1. I agree with all the comments 110%. I’m just disturbed that he accused his minor younger sister of videotaping him as that’s a pretty serious accusation, one I hope he gets charged for making a false accusation and for possibly ruining his sister’s life. Him and Wes need to be saved from those people.

  2. This is such obvious bullshit. Hunter just wants to get to continuing living at the Vaughns’ where there’s no rules, easy sex, unlimited junk food, and he can see his baby without actually having to parent. Of course a fourteen year old boy that’s already been allowed to run amock isn’t happy having to go stay with the parent that is actually parenting! The Vaughns have also probably filled his head with lies and told him he’ll never see the baby again and threatened him with child support blah blah blah.

I doubt Casey grabbed him by the throat when he was “little” and we’re just now hearing about it. Falen would have been hollering that from the mountain tops, along wirh the claims about the little sister. I can *maybe* believe pinning him against the wall in recent times (like since he became the size of a grown man), but I don’t know any man that didn’t show his ass at 14-17 and end up having to get man-handled by his daddy a time or two. The completely made up scenario in my head is something along the lines along Hunter being mad about having rules, bowing up at Casey/Brettney or slamming stuff around or whatever, and then getting pinned by the shoulders to put the fear of God into him, but not hurt him. Again, 100% speculation, but it’s not uncommon at all for teenage boys to think they’re big men until a bigger man shows them otherwise. I don’t think he’s pulling a David Eason or anything close.

  3. Of course he doesn’t want to live where there are rules and he has to have supervision when he’s with his girlfriend.

What does he think will happen if he and Bella break up? Does he think he will still have access to his son? Because of course he won’t. They won’t allow his dad to see the baby because they are spiteful terrible people. Also, what parent will want their kids to date him or even be his friend with all this out in public. H see still has a lot of years of school left and a lot of time before he’s an adult. At this rate he’s going to end up an addict.

  4. No food there. That’s teenager talk for dad not having Flamin Hot Cheetos and Red Bulls around like he probably gets at Failins.
