Kendra Caldwell’s family is breaking their silence nearly a month after Kendra’s husband, Joe Duggar, was arrested on allegations of child abuse and sexual misconduct.
A (Kendra- and Joe-free) family photo was posted to the Caldwell Family’s shared Instagram page this week, where the Caldwells expressed their sympathy for the victim of Joe’s crimes– who was 9 years old at the time of the alleged incident in 2020– as well as Kendra and Joe’s four children.
“Our family is both troubled and heartbroken over the alleged actions committed by our son-in-law,” they wrote. “We are devastated for the young girl, a child who was courageous in every way to share her truth. We stand by her, both in support and prayer, and forever will.
“Our love for this child remains at the forefront of our family’s priorities and minds,” the statement continued. “We are proud of her for being strong enough to share her story while also retaining her own identity and joy.”
Kendra’s family went on to write that victims like this young woman “should be able to share their story, to trust the judicial process, and do so without fear of retaliation,” while maintaining that they are on her side.
The Caldwells also mentioned in their statement that they are praying for Kendra and Joe’s children– who are not currently in Kendra’s care– noting that they have also been impacted by Joe’s alleged crimes.

“At the same time, we also recognize how traumatic this incident has been for our grandchildren as well and continue to pray for their strength,” they wrote. “Our love for them, and our daughter Kendra, remains.”
Kendra’s family also took the time in their statement to thank their supporters “who have given in all the ways, through prayer, finances, time, energy, and words of encouragement.”
“At this time, we have no further comment and request privacy,” the statement concluded.
The Caldwell Family broke their silence on social media just hours after their friend and Christian influencer, Amy Paul, condemned Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s actions following their son Joe’s arrest.
As The Ashley previously told you, Jim Bob and Michelle allegedly retaliated against Kendra’s parents, Paul and Christina Caldwell, due to a rumor that the couple was responsible for turning Joe in to the police. This alleged retaliation happened in the form of Kendra, Joe and the Duggars recently evicting Paul and Christina from the shared home the family had been living in since 2021, which belonged to Kendra and Joe.

As a result of the unexpected eviction, the Caldwells went on to launch a GoFundMe earlier this month in order to raise money for “legal fees and [to] secure safe housing.” (To date, the Caldwell Family’s GoFundMe has raised more than $32,000 in donations, with their goal currently set at $35,000.)
Kendra and Joe are facing four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment. Additionally, Joe is facing various charges involving unlawful sexual activity with a minor.

Yes this has been traumatic, for your grandchildren, it was probably also traumatic being locked in their rooms and being rised but these creepy people having all of this sympathy, you should probably try and get custody of your grandkids. So they don’t have to live with the duggers
