Hulu Announces Premiere Date for Stassi Schroeder’s New Reality Series ‘House of Stassi’; Watch the First Trailer

Someone better check on Scheana Shay…

Nearly two years after it was announced that former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder would be getting her own reality series on Hulu, the streamer has released the premiere date and first trailer for House of Stassi.

According to Deadline, ‘House of Stassi’ (which previously had the working title Stassi Says) will follow along as the wife and mom of two– who was fired from Bravo in 2020 and now stars on Hulu’s Vanderpump Villa– steps back into the spotlight to redefine her place in pop culture, while confronting ghosts of her past and a chaotic inner circle.

That “inner circle” includes Stassi’s husband Beau Clark, former ‘Vanderpump Rules’ stars Katie Maloney and Kristina Kelly, Stassi’s younger sister Georgianna Aubin, podcast co-host Taylor Strecker, and friends Taylor “Teddy” Donohue and Rob Evors– many of whom attended Hulu’s Get Real unscripted TV event on Wednesday, where the summer premiere date for ‘House of Stassi’ was officially announced.

In the trailer for the upcoming series, Stassi reintroduces herself to fans, while listing the many hats she’s now wearing.

“I’m a mom, a wife, a sister, a friend, some would say an influencer, others would call me mother,” she says.

“OK…yes, the only people who ACTUALLY call me ‘mother’ are my two children, but that still counts, right?”

The trailer goes on to show Stassi reminding Beau that, amid the chaos, they need to “have each other’s backs,” only for Beau to complain that his current role in their relationship is “1950s housewife.”

“I have my apron on, you come over, [like,] ‘Can I have a beer?’ … ,” he says, to which Stassi replies, “I don’t do that.”

“When have you EVER seen me drink something other than a Pinot Grigio or Aperol spritz?”

As The Ashley previously reported, Stassi revealed in 2024 that she was offered– but turned down– a spot on the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ spin-off, The Valley, before it was later announced that she would be returning to the small screen alongside former boss Lisa Vanderpump in Season 2 of ‘Vanderpump Villa.’ (She recently returned to the series for Season 3, as well.)

At the time, Stassi explained that while she was still friends with “a few” of her former ‘Vanderpump Rules’ co-stars, she claimed that she only spoke to those individuals occasionally.

“My life is not the way that it used to be,” she said. “I’m not in this group. I don’t have time to just be in this group of friends that goes out all the time and gets to do whatever they want. [‘The Valley’ is] not [going to be a different vibe], because I know what [that cast does] on a regular basis and that’s not what I do.”

“Whatever, Stassi! More tequila shots for me!”

Months earlier, Stassi had revealed on an episode of The Toast podcast that she would only be interested in doing her own reality show if it were done on her terms and didn’t require her to “change [her] life to be involved” in it.

“I really do miss it,” she said of reality TV. “I love it, but I don’t want to disrupt my life. It gives me anxiety when I think about [filming] again and if I were to change my life, that then affects your relationship, it affects your children, it affects family members.”

The first two episodes of ‘House of Stassi’ are set to premiere July 29 on Freeform, with the full season streaming July 30 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. Watch the official teaser below.

  1. Wait, Katie is coming back? Thats cool, but good god i hope stassi has grown up. She was great reality tv, messy witty but the whole racism/nazi play thing was effed up. Nazi were not bougie, they were EVIL.

    1. I think the article describes who is in Stassi’s “inner circle”. That’s where I saw Katie mentioned, but not as joining the show. Maybe I misunderstood
