Andy Cohen Says Bravo Fan “Delivered Crucial Information” That “Cracked the Case” on Who Was Behind ‘Summer House’ Reunion Audio Leak

“Mazel of the day YEAR!”

Despite enlisting the help of a “team of investigators,” Andy Cohen has revealed that it was actually a Bravo fan who “delivered crucial information” that ultimately “cracked the case” on who leaked the unauthorized audio from last week’s Summer House reunion.

As The Ashley told you last week, just hours after filming wrapped on the much-anticipated Season 10 reunion, two minutes of on-set audio was leaked on social media by an unknown– and seemingly inside– source.

In the clip, cast members Kyle Cooke, Ciara Miller, Mia Calabrese, Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, and KJ Dillard could be heard confronting co-stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson about their new– and rather polarizing– relationship. (Click here for The Ashley’s full transcript of the leaked clip.)

On the new episode of his Andy Cohen Live radio show, Andy recalled the moment he found out about the “violation” that had occurred, while insisting that he “knew immediately” that the audio hadn’t been leaked by someone on the ‘Summer House’ cast.

“At least we’re off the hook on THAT issue!”

Hours after last week’s audio leak, Andy took to Threads to react to the incident, telling fans that, “people laid their souls out emotionally for 10 hours and it’s disgusting and illegal for someone to leak or distribute this.”

“It’s disrespectful to the work and tears the cast put in yesterday,” he continued. “Let the season play out. You will see it all in due time.”

All of us after hearing people refer to this as “work”…

While Andy insisted on his show that he immediately knew who didn’t leak the recording, he noted that the network had enlisted a team of investigators to find the person who had released the audio; however, he shared with listeners that it was ultimately a fan who figured out who the real culprit was.

Andy’s stress level after finding out about the leak…

“ … let me say that, though this team of investigators were on it, a Bravo fan– who you’re going to hear more about– cracked the case,” Andy said. “[They] delivered crucial information … and Bravo has since released a statement … .”

On Sunday, Bravo announced in a social media statement that the investigation into the ‘Summer House’ audio leak had concluded, and that it was determined that “the audio was an unauthorized recording” that had been “distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion.”

The statement went on to claim that “appropriate action” had been taken and that there was no evidence that suggested a cast member had been involved in the recording. The network also acknowledged in the statement the existence of additional “improperly obtained audio”– which Andy had also mentioned on his show– which they cautioned “all parties and platforms to refrain from posting, sharing or amplifying.”

New episodes of ‘Summer House’ air Tuesdays on Bravo and stream Wednesdays on Peacock. Listen to a clip of Andy discussing the ‘Summer House’ audio leak below.
