Lindsie Chrisley has been awarded custody of her dog, Oliver, a week after her ex-boyfriend David Landsman asked a judge for legal and physical custody of the exes’ formerly shared dachshund. Lindsie and David— who had both filed for protective orders against each other— have also agreed to a “mutual no contact order,” which will remain in place until May 6, 2027.
The latest developments in Lindsie and David’s split comes nearly a month after David was arrested for aggravated assault (via strangulation) and battery against the former Chrisley Knows Best star. Days after the incident, Lindsie filed for a protective order against David, and weeks later, David filed a counter-petition asking for a protective order against Lindsie, as well as custody of their dog Oliver.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a judge ruled this week that David is to return Oliver to Lindsie (via third party) within 48 hours.

As for the “mutual no contact order” the exes agreed to, documents state that Lindsie and David are required to stay 500 yards away from each other, as well as from each other’s homes and workplaces. They can’t contact each other in any way, even through a third party.
David is also banned from going near or contacting Lindsie’s son Jackson, and must stay at least 500 feet away from him. (As The Ashley previously reported, Lindsie claimed in her TPO request that David had allegedly physically attacked Jackson– whom she shares with ex-husband Will Campbell– in the past.)

The agreement also states that this order will not have to be added to Georgia’s TPO (Temporary Protective Order) Registry, and that Lindsie’s and David’s individual requests for a TPO against the other have been dismissed.
David and Lindsie have been in an on-and-off relationship with each other for about two years, with things coming to a head between them on April 10 when David allegedly attacked Lindsie at his home. Last month, The Ashley revealed audio of a 911 call David made the night of his arrest in which he accused Lindsie of breaking into his Georgia home and “beating” him in the face, allegedly leaving him bloodied.
Despite the claims made in the 911 call, it was David who ended up being arrested, as cops allegedly found bruises and injuries on Lindsie.

In Lindsie’s filing for the protective order, she alleged that the April 10 incident was not the first time David had strangled her.
Lindsie also detailed an alleged incident on February 13 when David got violent with her over their dog. According to Lindsie, she went to David’s home to get Oliver and David ended up holding her down on the ground, holding her wrists together, and putting his foot on her ankles to prevent her from leaving. She stated that she eventually broke free from David and punched him, but he went on to chase her, push her down and retrieve the dog.
Lindsie first introduced social media followers to her dog Oliver in August 2024, at which point she shared a series of photos of herself and Jackson with the pup.
“Meet Oliver, he’s the happiest weenie in the whole wide world and we love him dearly,” she wrote.
