Ally Lewber Says She Wasn’t Shocked to Hear That Her Ex James Kennedy is Expecting a Baby with New Girlfriend: Claims ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star “Does Move Quickly”

“James is gonna James…”

Ally Lewber claims she wasn’t shocked to hear that her ex-boyfriend James Kennedy is reportedly expecting a baby with his new girlfriend, with the Perfect Match Season 4 star noting that the DJ “does move quickly” in relationships.

As The Ashley told you earlier this month, 34-year-old James and his girlfriend– who is not in the public eye– are reportedly expecting their first child together, despite the couple only being together for about seven months. While James has yet to confirm the daddy-to-be allegations, TMZ reported that he and his lady recently held a celebration with their “inner circle” in honor of the pregnancy.

In a new interview with Reality Nightcap, Ally confirmed that she had heard that her Vanderpump Rules star ex is set to become a father, while revealing that the baby news didn’t come as a huge shock to her.

“I did see that, yeah, I got a lot of texts,” Ally said. “I was shocked, but not. I was shocked, I didn’t know he had a girlfriend, but I’m not shocked [about the pregnancy] because he always wanted to be a dad and he does move quickly.”

Ally, revealing James’ go-to pick-up line…probably.

As ‘Vanderpump Rules’ fans may remember, James and Ally began dating after James’ engagement to co-star Rachel Leviss ended in 2021.

James and Ally went on to date for about three years, during which they also lived together. The two ultimately split in January 2025, shortly after James was arrested for domestic violence against Ally in December 2024.

Months before she and James ended their relationship, Ally explained why she was unsure about having children with her then-boyfriend, despite James openly expressing a desire to become a father.

“I’ve known from the beginning when I first met James that he really did want a family, to have children, and to get married, and those are things that he really values,” Ally told The Daily Dish in May 2024. “I feel differently, but I do see myself having kids one day. But I feel like we’re both just so busy and I’m just so happy with where we’re at.

“ … I take it day by day where, you know, James is very quick with it,” she continued. “I’m like, we have forever. We have all the time in the world, and I just want us to enjoy this chapter where we’re at now ‘cause we’re so happy … I’m just not there yet in life and James does know that, and so, we’ve talked about it and he knows and he’s happy to wait as long as he will. [But] he shouldn’t wait forever because I know that is something that’s really important to him.”

While her relationship with James ultimately ended on a turbulent note, Ally told Reality Nightcap that she wishes both James and his new girlfriend “well.”

“In other words…good luck, you’re gonna need it.”

“And, you know, I hope [James is] just happy and healthy,” she added.

Ally also went on to say that while she and James no longer speak to each other, things are “good” between them.

“I mean, I don’t think there’s any, like, bad blood or anything like that, but, yeah … no, [we don’t talk],” she said.

  1. Idk who these people are but it sickens me that people are so carefree about having babies. Like what his name in the news recently, pete somebody. Why move so fast? Why do you do this to yourself and the children. It is just nuts to me.
