As Cheyenne Floyd and the rest of the ‘Teen Mom’ cast continue to wonder when– or if– cameras will pick back up and resume filming, Cheyenne is reflecting on the milestones that viewers have missed in the meantime.
“I think that on ‘Teen Mom,’ we’ve spent the last eight years essentially sharing our family and our journey,” the mom of three recently told Us Weekly. “You guys have seen Ryder grow up on that show. I gave birth to Ace on that show, and now that we’ve stopped filming, I do think that there’s so much that has been missed.”
As fans of ‘Teen Mom’ know, Cheyenne shares nine-year-old daughter Ryder with Cory Wharton and sons Ace, 5, and Saint, 7 months, with husband Zach Davis. Cheyenne and Zach welcomed their newest addition in December 2025– more than six months after the last episode of ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ aired– meaning that viewers missed out on getting to see the Davis crew as they became a family of five.

While the future of ‘Teen Mom’ remains uncertain, Cheyenne– who joined the cast of Teen Mom OG in 2018– said she remains “hopeful” that cameras will return and that viewers will get to continue watching her family’s journey unfold.
“They still haven’t said that the show is cancelled, but they also haven’t said that the show is [being] picked up,” she said. “I don’t know what’s happening. Until then, I think that we just continue to push forward and do fun projects … .”
As The Ashley previously told you, the contracts for ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ ran out in May, which means the cast is no longer legally bound to the show, and can now pursue other opportunities, if they choose to.
Cheyenne went on to tell the outlet that it’s “OK that ‘Teen Mom’ isn’t filming right now,” as she and her family are “still able to do the things that they want to do.” For Cheyenne, one of those things is staying in contact with some of her co-stars, including Catelynn Lowell and her husband Tyler Baltierra, as well as Jade Cline.
“There’s definitely still a bond and a community,” Cheyenne said of her ‘Teen Mom’ castmates. “It would be hard to let go of that because we’ve shared so much of our lives on the same platform together that essentially only us really knows how that feels.”
As The Ashley previously told you, on a solo episode of her Cate & Ty Break It Down! podcast in May, Cate revealed that she and Tyler were shooting something in relation to ‘Teen Mom’ very soon, while insisting that the show “is not cancelled.”
“We are actually in the works for something right now for MTV/Paramount, and it’s going to be different from our show but we’re super excited to be working on it,” Cate told listeners. “We can’t wait for it to come out. We actually are going to film for it within the next few weeks. So we’re excited about that.”
Cate also claimed on the episode that she and Tyler had “some ideas” about a possible spin-off show about them that they’d “been running” by people.
Cate’s comments about the (still uncertain) future of ‘Teen Mom’ came just days after Cheyenne’s (first) baby daddy Cory– who has made several “updates” on the status of the show over the last year– revealed on Snapchat that there is something in the works with Paramount regarding the “plan” for ‘Teen Mom.’
“Actually, things are moving in the right direction, that’s all I’ll say about that,” Cory claimed. “ … I will give you guys a little inside scoop … I had a talk with Paramount. I talked with someone with Paramount and there’s a game plan to get this thing going, to get this show back, there’s a game plan.
“I just want this game plan to actually form and they execute it,” he added, before pleading his case for the ‘Teen Mom’ families to be given an opportunity to show fans where they’ve ended up.
“There’s an interest out there,” Cory insisted. “Come on! ‘Teen Mom,’ let’s get a last season! Let’s get a roundup season [to show] where every family is [and] what they’ve got going on. We need one more in the chamber.”
After going on to backtrack on some of his previous ‘Teen Mom’ updates, Cory again pleaded that the network (or any network) give the cast one final season.
“ … Give us a farewell tour,” he pleaded. “Let everyone have a little farewell tour where we’re all talking about where we are in life, what our kids are doing…you can’t just end it on a random season.”
While waiting to see if cameras will pick up again, Cheyenne has landed her own brand collaboration with SHEIN.
“As a mom, I know how important it is to find clothing that’s both practical and stylish,” Cheyenne said in a press release for the collection. “This collaboration with SHEIN is all about helping families feel prepared for a new school year without compromising on quality, comfort or affordability. I wanted to curate pieces that kids are excited to wear and parents feel good about buying.”

Time to accept that nobody is interested in any of you anymore. Watching the struggles of raising a child as a teen is not the same as watching those same people in their 30s have their third kid and grasp at straws to avoid getting any kind of real job.
Cory publicly begging every network for a “farewell season” is so fucking embarrassing and desperate.

No one wants to see any of you trashy people on TV ever again. To MTV here is a question for you, “Why wasn’t Cheyenne the racist pig fired for saying she wanted to kill all white babies” Paramount+ needs to be notified of this also. They have all begged MTV to continue with the stupid show for one reason, so they won’t have to get out in the real world and get a real job. Someone else on a different story talking about how Cheyenne lies so much, here is a good one for you, remember when she told the big fat lie about being at the rodeo and people saying racist things to her about being there, all lies, the cameras would have exposed some of that.
Time for all these twerps to grow up and get grown up jobs… that show became so unrealistic
Became scripted ,I dont think there is any authentic moments,the children have been trained over the years how to play to the cameras.Those who havent saved any money and have no real education or job training are going to struggle.
