Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols have welcomed yet another baby to their bunch— less than a year after their last addition!
The stars of ‘The Challenge’ announced that their fifth child was born on Sunday, August 2— two weeks ahead of his due date. They named the baby Vincent John and he is the couple’s fifth child in four years. (In addition to baby Vincent, Jenna and Zach share four-year-old Anthony, three-year-old Liliana, two-year-old Carmella and 11-month-old Francesca.)
Jenna— who has been very vocal about wanting even more kids following Vincent’s birth— told People that she has so many kids that adding another doesn’t change much in the family.
“Adding a child after three kids doesn’t make a difference anymore,” she told the magazine on Monday. “It’s pure chaos, but the best kind.”
Baby Vincent was delivered early due to some medical issues he was experiencing in the womb.
“There wasn’t enough fluid in there, and he already had the cord wrapped around his neck,” Jenna told the magazine. “The doctors didn’t want to take any chances…I really was not ready at all, but life throws things at you, and you just have to roll with it. I’m glad Vincent’s healthy, and now we get to enjoy him two weeks earlier.”
Despite his early delivery, Vincent still weighed in at 7 lbs., 4 oz. and measured 21 inches.
Jenna stated that all of her kids are expecting another baby to come out of her soon.
“They love having a new sibling, although they still think another one is in my stomach,” she said. “Everyone is so helpful (for the first week at least). But they are all so close in age, I’m just happy they all get along and get excited when we bring home a new baby.”

The kids may be excited for a new baby, but Zach has made it clear that he is not thrilled about Jenna’s plan to shoot out a few more kids in the future. On a February episode of The Zach Nichols Podcast, Zach spoke to Jenna about their ever-growing family, telling listeners that, “Jenna wants to have more kids than this.”
While Jenna didn’t deny her husband’s claim, she explained to listeners that every time she’s asked how many children she and Zach plan to have, she has “upped it” following the birth of each kid. Jenna stated that she used to say she wanted six kids, but now tells people she wants between six and eight. (She told People in February that she may aim for 10 kids now.)
“We can’t afford it,” Zach told Jenna during the podcast episode, to which Jenna told her husband she has to “feel done” before they officially stop having kids. Zach argued that Jenna will never “feel done” having kids. However, he reluctantly agreed to go along with Jenna’s plan—provided she promised to allow him to have pre-planned guys’ days several times a week, as well as multiple golf trips a year.
“We can continue down this treacherous, insane, sleepless path, but my golf schedule doesn’t change,” Zach said, making Jenna promise that he would be allowed to go out every Wednesday, as well as every other Saturday and every third Friday of the month.
Jenna and Zach have not been shy about revealing that Jenna does the bulk majority of the child rearing. Back in 2023, Zach received backlash from fans for revealing on a podcast (on which Jenna was also a guest) that he leaves most parenting tasks to his wife and that he’s “very lucky” he doesn’t have to wake up in the middle of the night to tend to their kids. (At the time, Zach and Jenna only had two kids.)
“[Motherhood] is one of the hardest jobs in the world and I’m very lucky that I don’t have to wake up at night to do anything,” he said. “If [Jenna is] home, I’m not changing poopy diapers, unless like, I’m in a REALLY good mood or there’s two at the same time…”
Jenna confirmed Zach’s statement, revealing that he will even let her know when one of their kids needs a diaper change.
“That’s the best part about being a dad: you’re not the mom!” Zach said. “You get to do all the fun stuff, and see all these awesome things but at the same time, everyone’s like, ‘How are the kids doing? Are they sleeping through the night?’ and I’m like, ‘I don’t know.’ I get my sleep every night. I get my five hours, that’s all I need. And it doesn’t get interrupted.”
Jenna revealed that Zach often grabs his pillow and blanket and goes downstairs to continue his sleep, “while I’m dealing with two crying, screaming babies!”
“Dude, I’m the worst,” Zach said while laughing.

Jenna went on to defend Zach after the episode caused a ruckus, arguing that Zach frequently cleans around their house and that he works full-time, which allows her to be a stay-at-home mom.
Anyway, Jenna and Zach’s ‘Challenge’ co-stars sent the couple their well wishes on their newest addition.
“That’s quite the collection you guys haha. Wishing you a happy healthy recovery,” Cara Maria Sorbello commented on their birth announcement post.
“Quite an alliance y’all got there!” joked Tony Raines. “Huge congrats and God bless.”

Genuinely curious, how will they fit any more kids in a vehicle? 5 car seats is probably the max even for a large SUV.
