It’s back to the big house for former ‘Challenge’ star Stephen Bear.
According to Daily Mail, the 36-year-old has been sentenced to 16 months in jail for repeatedly violating a restraining order by launching an online “campaign of abuse” against his ex-girlfriend and former co-star Georgia Harrison.
As The Ashley previously reported, Bear received a 21-month prison sentence in March 2023 after being found guilty in December 2022 of voyeurism and of sharing a private sex tape featuring Georgia to his OnlyFans page. Bear was ordered to pay Georgia $267,000 in damages and ordered to repay the profits prosecutors claimed he earned from the video through the subscription site. Bear was also ordered to register as a sex offender and required to keep police up-to-date on his address and whereabouts for 10 years after completing his sentence.
Although the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star was ultimately released from prison 10 months ahead of his scheduled time, he’s now heading back to the slammer for violating the five-year restraining order that was put in place in 2023 to protect Georgia. According to Daily Mail, Bear violated this restraining order by repeatedly posting degrading comments about Georgia on multiple social media platforms after he was released from prison in 2024. In addition to making disparaging comments about Georgia, Bear allegedly attempted to cast doubt on his conviction and accused Georgia and her mom of conspiring to distort the course of justice.
Last week, Bear– joined by his pregnant 19-year-old wife, Miami– appeared in court to answer for his (latest) crimes, where Judge Christopher Morgan gave him an immediate prison sentence and criticized him for “victim blaming” Georgia and “deliberately” violating the court order.
“Over three to four months you consistently posted messages of the most abhorrent and harmful type,” Judge Morgan reportedly told Bear. “You accused her of being a liar. You accused her of perverting the course of justice in bringing lies to her evidence in the courtroom. You accused her mother of being a liar and also accused her support throughout the course of the trial of manipulating the court process to get you into trouble.
“I take the view, as you must understand, that your explanation and justification for doing what you did in that three to four month period is simply victim blaming,” he continued. “You know what the terms of the order was. You understood the consequences and over a prolonged period you deliberately breached the court order. The sentence I impose must be immediate.”
(In addition to violating his restraining order, Bear previously appeared in court for violating his sex offender registry requirements.)
Senior Crown Prosecutor Andrew Young assured the public last week that “restraining orders are imposed by the courts to protect victims,” and that “breaching them is a criminal offense which we will not hesitate to prosecute with the full force of the law.” The prosecutor went on to claim that Bear had “launched a campaign of abuse against Georgia” on social media, where he “amplified abuse” and encouraged others to participate, “despite being expressly prohibited from doing so.”
“No woman should be made to live in fear because someone refuses to accept the restrictions placed on them by a court,” he continued. “Stephen Bear may have hidden behind a screen, but his actions had real-world consequences. The [Crown Prosecution Service] will always seek to prosecute those who threaten, harass or intimidate women and girls, whether that behavior takes place in person or online.”
While Georgia was not in attendance for Bear’s sentencing last week, she went on to express her gratitude to police for taking her claims seriously, noting that “so many women in [her] position are overlooked.”
“[Police] treated this as the serious crime it is– not a celebrity story,” she said in a statement released through Essex Police. “It is a real offense against a real person. They built the case properly, they stayed with it, and when the order was breached, they acted instead of shrugging. From the messages I get every day, I know how rare that still is.
“If every force treated this the way Essex Police did, thousands of women would feel safer today,” she added.
Georgia continues to speak out about online safety in the wake of Bear’s actions against her, even receiving a Royal Honor in October for her advocacy. That same month, she and boyfriend Jack Stacey welcomed their first child together, daughter Sahara Jean.
