Jessi Draper is catching major backlash this week after a video resurfaced of ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ star discussing the labiaplasty surgery she underwent in 2024 and comparing her post-op body part to that of her then then-year-old daughter’s privates.
No. Seriously…
The backlash was so great that Jessi chose to deactivate her social media accounts (only to realize that she had active brand deals to promote so she reactivated it with her co-star Mayci Neeley promoting those deals.
As fans of ‘Mormon Wives’ may remember, Jessi opened up about the procedure on Season 1 of the Hulu series, during which she invited her co-stars to a painting party prior to “getting [her] cookie redone.”
As you do…
(FYI, labiaplasty is a surgical procedure that reduces the size of your labia minora, according to the Cleveland Clinic. An individual may decide to go under the knife for a labiaplasty for medical or cosmetic reasons.)

In addition to discussing the details of her “cookie” procedure on social media and on ‘Mormon Wives,’ Jessi spoke (in great detail) about the surgery during a 2025 episode of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Off The Vine podcast.
“They cut the meat off. Like, you know how you have the little things inside the flaps?” Jessi said to Kaitlyn during the episode regarding her lady parts. “They just, like, cut it off and then sew it back up … ”
Unfortunately, Jessi didn’t stop there.
“I’m like, ‘I look like my daughter [down there],” she went on to claim. “I’m like, brand new again.”

While Jessi made the truly WTF inappropriate comment more than a year ago, clips from the podcast episode began circulating this week amid an ongoing feud involving Jessi, a woman named Katie Santt, and a consignment shop called Indy Clover. (You can click here for a full breakdown on the clothing conflict, which is still very much unfolding.)
After Katie posted a clip from Jessi’s interview to Instagram this week, Jessi ended up deactivating her social media– albeit briefly– due to the influx of comments she received from fans who were disgusted by her past remarks. Although Jessi appears to be actively deleting any comments that mention the infamous podcast episode, some of her detractors continue to take to the comment section of her Instagram posts to express their outrage, with some deeming the 34-year-old “vile.”
“Why are we skipping past her comparing vaginas with a toddler?” one since-hidden comment read. “If a man did that he rightfully would be trash. WTF is wrong with you people, someone should contact your significant others and employers.”
“Pervert!” another wrote. “Remember what she said about her child’s genitals! ALL ON VIDEO.”
Jessi has yet to address her resurfaced remark; however, when questioned about it last year on social media, she insisted that it “was a bad joke.”
“Someone told me when I got [my labiaplasty] done I’d look brand new and like the day I was born again down there so it was a play on that,” she claimed, adding, “I’m sorry!”
In another Instagram comment from last year, Jessi apologized again, telling fans that she “didn’t mean any harm by it.”
As expected, Jessi’s No. 1 fan, Marciano Brunette, swooped in to defend Jessi on social media.
“The Internet can take a moment or a mistake and decide they know someone’s entire heart. But I get to know the real Jess,” Marciano wrote on Tuesday. ““How deeply she loves, how much she cares, how hard she works, and the things she does for people when nobody’s watching.
“I hope you never let the opinions of strangers make you question the person the people who truly know you already know you are,” he wrote to Jessi.

As of press time, Jessi has not addressed the newly resurfaced clip.
