Earlier this week, “90 Day Fiance: The Other Way” star Pattiya Phillips announced in an Instagram reel that her 12-year-long relationship with partner Dylan Yeandle was over.
The only problem? She didn’t bother to let Dylan know before making this post!
In response to Pattiya’s breakup annoucement, Dylan posted to his Instagram to let fans know that this was a split he didn’t want, nor even know about!
“I’m not going to lie, Pattiya blindsided me with this,” he wrote. “After 12 years together, I never expected to be reading about the end of our relationship online like everybody else.”

In her post, Pattiya explained that she no longer wanted to deal with the long-distance relationship she had with Dylan.
“After 12 years together, our journey has officially come to an end,” she wrote. “Long distance and the constant back and forth have taken an emotional toll on me. I wish Dylan well as we go our separate ways. Goodbye to this chapter. I’m choosing peace.”
In the post’s caption, Pattiya admitted that she was the one who was calling it quits.

“I understand that Dylan may not want our relationship to end, but I can no longer continue living through the distance, uncertainty, and constant cycle of being together and apart,” she wrote. “I waited 12 years for our relationship to truly move forward, held on through so much, and gave it more chances than I can count. But I cannot keep waiting and hoping for a future that may never come.
“As much as I have loved him, love alone is not always enough to make a relationship healthy or sustainable,” she continued. “This relationship has taken an emotional toll on me, and I have finally realized that I must choose what is best for my own peace and happiness.”
Pattiya wished Dylan— who hails from Tasmania— the best but made it clear that her decision was final.
“I sincerely wish Dylan well, and I hope he finds the happiness, fulfillment, and whatever it is he is still seeking in life,” she wrote. “I will always appreciate the memories and the years we shared, but for me, this chapter is permanently closed. This is my decision, and I am asking that it be respected.”
After informing fans that he was kept in the dark about Pattiya’s decision to breakup, Dylan stated that his (now ex-) girlfriend isn’t giving people the full story.
“I’m not going to disrespect what we had by turning this into a public fight,” he wrote. “But I also won’t pretend there isn’t a lot more to this story than what’s being told.”
“For now, I’m still processing it all,” he concluded. “The truth has a way of coming out eventually.”
Fans— like Dylan— seemed to have no idea that Pattiya was ready to end the relationship. Just one day before Pattiya broadcasted their breakup, Dylan hinted that he and Pattiya could start filming again. He posted a clip from their original season of “90 Day” – which Pattiya collaborated on– and ended the caption with, “And who knows… maybe our story isn’t finished on your TV screens just yet.”
Audiences first met Pattiya and Dylan on Season 7 of “90 Day Fiance: The Other Way” as Pattiya– an American– attempted to leave her provocative dancer lifestyle in Texas to live with Tasmanian native Dylan, who is also a provocative dancer. However, the couple’s 20-year age gap, and Pattiya’s strained relationship with Dylan’s mom, created problems for the couple and ultimately led Pattiya to move back home.

Pattiya has not yet responded to Dylan’s claim about being blindsided.
