‘Unexpected’ Star Bella Vaughn Slams Ex Hunter Johnson on Social Media: “Not Meant to Be a Dad”

This dynamic continues to be anything BUT ‘Unexpected.’

Bella Vaughn and Hunter Johnson of ‘Unexpected’ Season 7 appear to be at odds, yet again.

The latest spat between the teen parents seemingly ramped up over the weekend, leading 16-year-old Bella to fire off a ticked-off TikTok at her 14-year-old former fiancé, in which she accused Hunter of falling short as a father both before and after the birth of the couple’s son, Wesley.

Bella’s since-deleted post featured multiple images, including one of herself and Wesley, along with the text, “you can’t hold it against him forever, he’s just young”– a comment presumably referring to Hunter. In the caption of her post, Bella unloaded her ongoing list of grievances.

Bella and Hunter with their son, Wes…

“From the missed appointments, to refusing to go to the ultrasounds because you ‘didn’t know what you were looking at,’ to now choosing another women [sic] over your son,” Bella wrote. “You’ve become everything you promised me and Bubba you wouldn’t be, but that’s okay because he’s never lacking without you.”

falen
“Yeah…umm, same…”

Bella– who did not mention Hunter by name in her post– went on to call her baby daddy’s inconsistent parenting “disgusting,” and his disrespect towards her “unnecessary,” as she claims to be raising their son alone.

“You’ve completely robbed me of my experience being a first-time mom, instead of enjoy[ing] the little moments I had to worry about you being present, which you never were when I needed you,” Bella wrote. “You might be young, but you know right from wrong. You have no excuses anymore; you’re simply just not meant to be a dad or at least a good one.”

hunter
“Sorry! They didn’t teach that in middle school, believe it or not!”

Despite her clear frustration, Bella concluded her post by thanking Hunter for showing her that she is strong and that she can “do it alone.”

“I never needed you but I very strongly wanted to change you,” she added. “Now I know no one can do that even if your own son can’t make you want to be better.

“Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree I guess,” Bella continued, presumably referring to Hunter’s dad, Casey Johnson, who is currently dealing with his own familial issues.

“We do have that same derpy smile!”

As The Ashley told you in July, Bella and her mom, Falen Vaughn, gave fans an (awkward) update on Bella’s dating life, during which Falen insisted that Bella would need to get to know a person and their family before introducing them to Wesley. Around this time, ‘Unexpected’ fans figured out that Hunter was dating a 16-year-old motorsports enthusiast named Ambria, who later responded to the backlash she’d received online after her and Hunter’s relationship became public.

While it’s unclear if Hunter and Ambria are still in a relationship, Ambria posted a vague message to TikTok on Monday, potentially in response to Bella’s recent rant.

“Who was sitting alone trying to avoid drama,” Ambria wrote. “Who was quiet and just blocked drama. Who told who they should [kill] themself. Who was quiet when being called names.”

“You can’t hold it against him forever, he’s just young.” Wasn’t this Falen’s answer EVERY SINGLE TIME Bella tried to complain about Hunter to her? (After she got done giving Bella the silent treatment for being mad and/or wanting to break up with him, of course).

Yeah, Bella, teenagers aren’t cut out to be parents. It’s why they are discouraged from getting pregnant. My parents were teen parents with my older brother, 15 and 16, and they both freely admitted they did damage to my brother in his early years because they didn’t have a clue what they were doing until they were in their early 20s and even then said they were too young. But unlike your parents who started too young and encouraged your behavior my parents were on our asses continuously to wait and explained birth control what felt like every other day. It was literally one of my mom’s biggest fears that we would make the same mistake her and my dad did. There’s a difference between white trash and teenagers that made a mistake. You are firmly white trash. You and the Duggar family give Arkansas a BAD name. Please move.

besofrrn

Bella besofrrn. When my son was 14 he needed a schedule on the fridge to feed the dog and take him out during the summer/school breaks. You think a 14 year old was meant to be a dad??? They can’t even take care of their Nikes man.

stslilron16

it’s almost as if… the entire purpose for this show is that kids shouldn’t be having kids 😱😱😱

Gemma

Looks like they missed the PSA from all of the Teen Mom shows and Dr. Drew insisting that because if 16 & pregnant and Teen Mom shows that the statistics of teenage pregnancy has gone down.🤨

Sam

What did she expect getting knocked up by a 12 year old?! Girly, he wasn’t even a teenager yet. You got pregnant by a literal child!
Also it’s 100% her choice to focus on her relationship instead of focusing on being a first time mom.

Bananazas

“Not meant to be a dad” NOOOO REALLY?!? He’s 14 he’s meant to be an immature child because he IS one. Maybe if you didn’t let the kid jump on you when he was *11* you wouldn’t be in this mess.

This is one time where I wish CPS would take the baby cause there is not a *single* person in that child’s life that is thinking of him before social media fame.

Streets Full of Uppercut

Well, yeah. Kids are not meant to be parents. That goes for both of them.

Neither is her “too young ass” not meant to be a parent!!!!

She robbed herself of the experiences she wanted to have as a first-time mom by not being on birth control until she was old enough and mature enough to have a baby with a man whom was also mature and ready to have a child.

AAAA

What I don’t understand in all of this is how everyone, including her own mother, are acting like they are talking about adults. These are CHILDREN, OF COURSE he is not fit to be a dad, why is this at all surprising to you?! Come back in 10 years and then we can talk…same with her mom who was talking as if her SIXTEEN YEAR OLD DAUGHTER is chasing around boys…there will be plenty of time for that in your life, now focus on finishing school first. As if it’s a hard thing to grasp that these are still teens even though they already had a kid. Having a kid doesn’t make you maturing…maturing comes with age and experience.

LvckyBtch

Because for every person who sees it from your (and my) POV, there are equally as many who enjoy screaming that “they made adult decisions, now they can live with the adult consequences!” They’ll almost clap with glee at the world of shit these kids have been forced to live in due to their big decision making capabilities, while completely ignoring that these CHILDREN could NOT, in fact, make adult decisions. As though their brains were plenty mature to make that terrible choice, so we will force them to keep making terrible choices with the very limited life and developmental experience needed to do so. That’s how we ended up here in the first damn place! That’s some crazy, crazy work. Those folks don’t seem to see shades of gray or nuance, or even really give thought to how all those adult decisions they’re so capable of making could fuck their lives up even worse, perhaps permanently.

Sorry for the rant, but it literally makes me even more sad for our world that this is the type of humanity we extend to kids who are legit still growing (bodies AND brains) and have been allowed to make their own choices that compromise their futures. That’s why parents and support systems exist! To help them NOT have to be stuck making grown up choices while they are decidedly NOT grown, yet for those who feel the adult decisions time way, they don’t really care.

I mean, all 3 of those children now exist on this earthly plane; for a percentage of people in the US, that means we don’t even have to care anymore since they’re already born.

OF COURSE A 13 YEAR OLD BOY IS NOT MEANT TO BE A FATHER, YOU ABSOLUTE TWAT.
You wanted to play house with a literal child and have a baby with him and now you see that was a bad idea

Lyin’ Hustlah

A tween boy is a lousy parent. And water is wet.

Gemma

Little Boy was 12 years old when they started having sex. TWELVE! He is a whopping 14 years old now. I don’t know any 12-14 year olds that would make great Dad’s.🥴

Hunter’s main objective is to find a girl any girl that will allow him to have sex with her whenever he wants. He isn’t concerned with doctor’s appointments, ultrasounds, being a good father, his academics or attendance at school. Like most boys of that age he is a hormonal kid in tennis shoes with no cognitive thoughts other than GIRLS! SEX! And Bella knows this because that’s all he cared about when they were together.

Moxie

Come on now. Don’t start clouding the argument with facts.

Gemma

LMAO, thank you for this. I laughed out loud and needed to today.
