Since its premiere this spring, The Voice has been being compared to the granddaddy of all talent shows, American Idol. While it has many of the same aspects of ‘Idol’ (celebrity judges, eliminations and um, people singing), ‘The Voice’ is actually very different from ‘Idol.’
The show became a summer hit for NBC, surely prompting FOX to wonder if they had better start worrying about this show when it comes back this winter (at the same time as ‘Idol’ will be coming on!)

I’m shocked by the results so far. I didn’t know ppl watched the voice. Not believing anyone likes it more than the AI. No chance…Judges are weak, concept is lame and the host doesn’t measure up (this ain’t trl bro). AI FTW!
