We watched them date and then fall in love (not to mention get freaky in the Fantasy Suite) , so we might as well get to see Ashley Herbert and JP Rosenbaum tie the knot on television too!

According to a new article in Life & Style Weekly, a former ‘Bachelor’ cast mate and friend of Ashley and JP is saying that the wedding is going to take place in the spring of 2012, most likely in California.

Don’t fret if you aren’t able to make the trip to the West Coast; the whole wedding extravaganza will surely be televised! I’m sure ABC is literally salivating at the thought of having an Ashley/JP Wedding Special!

“Ashley and JP will get married on TV, it’s guaranteed,” the contestant told Life & Style. “ABC is happy to pay for a wedding when it knows the couple are as happy and in love as Ashley and JP are.”

Gag me with a spoon. (Even though I act like I hate this crap, I know I’ll be watching it. I watched the stupid ‘Trista and Ryan Get Married’ special like eight times!)

I’m sure we’ll get a chance to see everything: from Ashley and her tattooed JP-hating sister going dress shopping, to the bachelorette party filled with ‘Bachelorette’ and ‘Bachelor’ stars, to the televised nuptials. (I wouldn’t even put it past them to somehow weasel in Chris Harrison as the wedding officiant! Actually, that would be kind of cool.)

It seems Ashley is ready to get her wedding plan on. She tweeted that she will be watching the Kim Kardashian Wedding Special on E! and will be taking notes. JP and Ashley also attended a friend’s wedding last weekend, which seems to have also spurred her interest in planning her own wedding. 

Don’t you think it would be funny if they got married before Ali and Roberto did? Maybe ABC can convince the couples to do some sort of creepy, Brady Girls Get Married-esque double wedding!?
