The latest victims of the ’16 and Pregnant’ marriage curse…

Jordan Ward‘s 2011 episode of 16 and Pregnant remains one of the most-watched episodes of the series ever, with nearly 2.4 million people tuning in to watch Jordan give birth to son Noah. Fans were delighted to learn that, after her episode was filmed, Jordan married Noah’s fatherBrian Finder, and the couple went on to welcome a daughter in November 2011.

The couple have had one of the only successful marriages to come out of ’16 and Pregnant’…until now.

Even though Jordan’s twin sister, Jessica, confirmed to The Ashley last summer that Jordan and Brian were still together, it appears that things have changed since then. Brian recently confirmed on his Instagram page that he and Jordan have separated after just over five years of marriage.

Their relationship appeared to be strained for at least a year, and a move back to St. Louis may have been the final nail in the coffin for the couple’s marriage.

Although they are no longer together, it appears that Jordan and Brian are still friendly. In fact, they apparently attended Euphoria (a festival in Austin, Texas) together earlier this month.

Nearly all of the marriages that got their start on ’16 and Pregnant’ have ended in divorce. Currently, the only couples from ’16 and Pregnant’ who are still married are Season 4’s Mackenzie and Josh McKee (although they are reportedly having trouble in their marriage), Season 4’s Myranda and Eric Kennemer, Season 4’s Jordan and Tyler Zeplin and Season 5’s Summer and DJ Rewis (who also split but have since reconciled).

The rest of the ’16 and Pregnant’ marriages have ended in divorce. This includes the marriages of Ebony and Josh Rendon, Leah and Corey Simms, Lizzie and Skylar Sickles, Emily and Daniel Peterson, Karley and Tony ShipleyAubrey and Brandon Akerill, Christinna and Isaiah Robinson, Brooke and Cody Tarrant and Megan and Nathan Stone.

  1. This is sad, but I’m not as surprised as when Brooke and Cody broke up. I really thought those two were going to make it.

  2. This is sad! I am dying for an update on Kristina head. The last we saw her she was being called a pot smoker and having random guys sleep over.

    1. Whitney Purvis and Weston broke up. She’s now forcing her youngest son to call her new boyfriend ‘Dad’.

  3. Do you possible know where they may live now? I’m almost positive he’s at my work for an interview right now, he aged well!

  4. I knew they wouldn’t last. He didn’t seem to accept her close relationship with her sister.

  5. IMO people who marry before they are 20 years old usually don’t make it more than 5 years because around 25-27 they tend to grow apart. Usually around your mid 20’s your priorities change and you start to find yourself more. It’s sad to hear they decided to part but I think it’s due to growing apart and nothing more. I think these two will do a great job of co-parenting together.

    1. I disagree with your comment. Young love does and can last. I think it depends on the situation on why they got married. My husband and i got married before the age of 20 and have been together for 12 years and married 10 of those. and still going strong. But we didnt get married because we had to. We got married because we wanted to. 🙂 and i do hope that they do co parent together as well. its good to hear they still get along and that makes it sound like it wasnt on too bad of terms that they separated.

      1. I’m happy your marriage made it but I said usually. I didn’t mean every relationship, obviously everyone will have a different experience. I thought that was a given.
