‘The Bachelor Winter Games’ Winning Couple Ashley Iaconetti & Kevin Wendt Have Split

“See you in Paradise?”

Look out, Bachelor Nation guys: Ashley Iaconetti is back on the market!

Just a few months after finding love with Canadian Kevin Wendt on The Bachelor Winter Games, Ashley confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that she and Kevin have called it quits.

The Ashley will give you a moment to get over the shock you’re surely experiencing…

Anyway, Ashley and Kevin–who “took home the gold” on ‘Winter Games’ earlier this year–reportedly split due to the hardships they were experiencing being in a long-distance relationship. (Kevin currently lives in Toronto, while Ashley is from Los Angeles.)

ET‘s source claimed that the breakup was very cordial.

“It was a little weird to have to figure out a long-term plan so soon,” the source said. “Ashley and Kevin were both really into each other, they just weren’t sure if it was a forever thing. And it’s hard to date long distance like that.”

But, of course, Ashley and Kevin plan to milk their breakup for all it’s worth! Ashley told ET that Kevin will be on the next episode of the podcast she co-hosts with former ‘Bachelor’ Ben Higgins, so that they can “jointly address the split.”

Ashley has been unlucky in love during all of her appearances on ‘Bachelor’-related shows. She did not find love on Chris Soules‘ season of The Bachelor, and she basically spent two seasons of Bachelor in Paradise chasing around poor Jared Haibon who was, as they say, “just not that into her.”

Kevin appeared on The Bachelorette Canada in 2017, winning the heart of ‘Bachelorette’ Jasmine Lorimer. Kevin and Jasmine became engaged at the end of the season, but split after only five months.

If you’re feeling sad about Ashley and Kevin’s breakup, perk up: the other two couples who made it to the end of the show are still together and appear to be very happy. Dean Unglert and Lesley Murphy were spotted on Monday having breakfast with Dean’s estranged father; while Australian Courtney Dober and New Zealand native Lily McManus are still together, having moved to Los Angeles together after the ‘Winter Games.’

Clare Crawley and Canadian Benoit Beauséjour, who became engaged after the ‘Winter Games’ finale, are also still together.
