ABC Announces Another Spin-Off is Being Added to ‘The Bachelor’ Franchise

“Open, unlike my schedule at this rate.”

Another spin-off show is coming to The Bachelor franchise, bringing us one step closer to the ultimate goal of year-round Bachelor Nation entertainment!

The news of another spin-off was revealed by ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke in an interview with The Wrap. While ABC is (obviously) on board with growing ‘The Bachelor’ brand even more, Karey said the network is being careful not to overdo it.

Overdo it? This franchise?! Never!

“There’s an extension to the Bachelor franchise coming,” she said. “We have to be careful not to dilute a brand, because you can get carried away, but not looking at that would be silly.”

While we don’t have any details of what this new show will consist of, at least we know it will be in good company.

In addition to ‘The Bachelor,’ ABC is also home to The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, which is currently airing. Devoted members of Bachelor Nation will also remember the short-lived special Winter Olympics themed series, The Bachelor Winter Games, which aired in 2018, as well as After Paradise, a show that aired after episodes of ‘Bachelor in Paradise.

“OG” Bachelor Nation members may also remember the first ‘Bachelor’ spin-off, Bachelor Pad, which ran for three seasons from 2010-2012. (What a time it was!) ‘Bachelor Pad’ was replaced by ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ in 2013.

In other news, ABC announced during the Summer Television Critics Association (TCA) tour that both ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘The Bachelorette’ have been renewed for new seasons, so we’ll have plenty more ‘Bachelor’-related fun to look forward to!
