Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was probably fist-pumping through the maternity ward on Tuesday, celebrating the birth of his first child!
E! News broke the news that the Jersey Shore star and his girlfriend Jen Harley have just welcomed a daughter. The couple did not release their daughter’s name; however Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino may have spilled the beans during a chat with Page Six, telling them that, according to a ‘Jersey Shore’ cast group text, the baby’s name is Sky.
Ronnie was reportedly on a flight to London (to do press for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation) when he heard that Jen’s water broke.
“He had to turn around because his girlfriend’s water broke and he had to go straight back [to Las Vegas] to catch the baby[‘s birth] which he eventually did,” Mike told Page Six.
Jen kept her Instagram followers updated via Instagram stories on Monday, telling them she was headed to the hospital, while Ronnie was still in route.
“Ron lands at seven so we have five hours,” she said. “I’m feeling very very uncomfortable about pushing a baby out of my vagina right now.”
Ronnie and Jen announced the pregnancy in December. They began dating in February 2017, shortly after Ronnie split from Malika Haqq, whom he met while appearing on Famously Single.
This is the first child for Ronnie and the second for Jen, who has an 11-year-old son from a previous relationship. With the birth of his baby girl, Ronnie joins several other ‘Jersey Shore’ cast members who are parents. To date, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has two children, as does Jenni ‘JWoWW’ Farley. DJ Pauly D is the father of a daughter named Amabella.

Never liked Ronnie. He’s always been a childish douche. I feel bad for his daughter. I’d feel embarrassed if my dad wrote that about me after I was born… Hopefully she doesn’t have daddy issues.
Expecting a baby withing months of a relationship, what can go wrong?! They only celebrated their first anniversary this February, that’s crazy! So Ron-Ron hasn’t learned anything from his own show? (Where they hooked up a lot but also made sure there was no maybe-baby). Again, I’m sure somewhere Sammi is breathing a sigh of relief that it wasn’t her who he impregnanted.
Exactly what I was thinking. They have been dating a little over a yr and have a baby. I’m very interested in this jersey shore reboot, because it appears Ron cheated on this girl. I’m sure he blamed it on her somehow. She obviously got pregnant on purpose to lock Ron down though…I understand accidents happen, but this is beyond obvious.
Why would anyone be desperate to “lock [him] down”? He’s violent, immature, and riddled with trust issues.
