It’s official: Raaaaaahhhn is going to be a dad!
Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro announced on Christmas Eve that he and his girlfriend Jen Harley are expecting their first child.
Ronnie– who is set to star on the rebooted version of ‘Jersey Shore’ coming next year, told Us Weekly his girlfriend his currently six months pregnant with a baby girl.
This will be the first child for Ronnie and the second for Jen (who has an 11-year-old son from a previous relationship.) Ronnie and Jen began dating in February, after Ronnie split from Malika Haqq, whom he met while appearing on Famously Single.
“Things in life never goes as planned or ever happen the way you expect it!” Ronnie so eloquently wrote on Instagram in the caption of a photo of him and Jen.
According to their baby registry, Jen is due on April 17. (Wanna see their baby registry? Of course you do!)
Ronnie is not the first ‘Jersey Shore’ cast member to become a parent. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has two kids, as does Jenni “JWoWW” Farley. DJ Pauly D also has a daughter. The fact that the majority of the ‘Jersey Shore’ kids are now parents will probably be a big factor in the upcoming new season, which is entitled Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. (Vinny Guadagnino, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Deena Cortese will also be appearing on the new show.)
Ronnie’s ex-girlfriend Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola has chosen not to appear on the reboot. It’s been said that she doesn’t want to be around her ex Ron.
Sammi has yet to comment publicly on Ronnie’s big baby news.
I don’t blame Sam for not wanting to be around them and reigniting that dysfunction again even if they are in new relationships. I see really immature ones like Pauly trying to bring up old shit just to see drama.
I guess some women are actually into the insane possessive types.
I can’t imagine him being a good dad or partner, he was so disgustingly abusive to Sam.
I bet Sammi is glad she dodged that bullet…….been together for years and now he has a new girlfriend and knocks her up (yeah, I know she is not the first after Sammi but still). I was never a fan of this guy, he always came across as way too possessive in a relationship.
Ron seemed to be a pro at gaslighting on the show. Cheating, freaking out breaking stuff, vile name calling…it’s her fault though!! Hopefully he’s grown up and calmed down.
Soooo…. they were dating for about 3/4 months before getting pregnant?!? Why is it so hard for people in general to know someone before they get knocked up?
For the sake of the kid, I hope it lasts…
Seriously. You really have to be trying to get pregnant in order for an oopsie baby to happen anymore. There are just too many accessible ways to prevent unplanned pregnancies, and for some reason, MTV has never relayed any of these new fangled methods to a single one of its cast members.
