‘Flip Or Flop’ Star Christina El Moussa Scores Solo HGTV Reality Show ‘Christina On The Coast’

“An HGTV paycheck without having to film with my ex-husband?! I’m all in!”

Christina El Moussa is going solo!

Five months after her divorce from husband and Flip or Flop co-star Tarek El Moussa was finalized, Christina has scored her own reality show.

In a press release sent out on Wednesday, HGTV announced that Christina is set to star in Christina on the Coast, an eight-episode series that focuses on Christina expanding her design business throughout Southern California. In addition, ‘Christina on the Coast’ will delve into Christina’s life post-divorce.

“Christina will transform clients’ outdated properties into high-end showplaces,” the press release stated. “It also will put the spotlight on her personal journey after her split with husband Tarek. As Christina searches for the perfect new home to start afresh while balancing parenthood, career and a new relationship, cameras will follow her.”

HGTV President Allison Page said in a statement that ‘Flip or Flop’ fans have an interest in Christina’s professional and personal life after watching her on ‘Flip or Flop’ for so many years.

“Christina’s design style is very popular, so it’s a natural progression for us to expand her visibility with a new series,” said Allison Page stated. “Her fans also are deeply vested in her personal life and eager to see ‘what happens next’—so we’re bringing them the opportunity to share in these real-life moments in a way that no one else can.”

As The Ashley previously reported, Christina and Tarek announced they were divorcing in 2017. The divorce was finalized in January, but the exes continued to work together on the seventh season of ‘Flip or Flop.’

According to HGTV, a solo series featuring Tarek may be in the works, too.

“Tarek El Moussa is also in discussions to develop a potential new series with HGTV,” the network stated.

‘Christina on the Coast’ is set to air on HGTV in early 2019.

“The past few years have brought a lot of change into my life and I am so excited to see what the next stage has in store for me both professionally and personally,” Christina said in a statement. “There is so much to look forward to and this is only the beginning.”

  1. Ugh Jesus Gawwwd (Leah) I’m so sick of this chick… Literally been milking the divorce thing for like 500 years now BYE

  2. Christina isn’t my favorite HGTV personality (Property Brothers and Fixer Upper personalities are), but I will probably watch some episodes of her show. I’m interested to hear what Tarek’s show will be about.
