Part 1 of the Sister Wives Season 18 Tell-All aired Sunday, bringing a lot of emotions and even some unexpected humor, courtesy of none other than Kody Brown.
As host Sukanya Krishnan sat down to discuss the rollercoaster ride that was Season 18, the blowup between Kody and ex-wife Janelle Brown was revisited, as well as the sit-down the exes had two months later.
For those who missed the sit-down at Salsa Brava, Janelle admitted during the episode that she wanted to remain separated from her springy-haired spouse, prompting Kody to tell viewers during the Tell-All episode that Janelle only loved him for his body.
“Janelle’s not in love with me, I think she thinks I’m hot,” he said during the episode. “I got nice pecs and a great six-pack abs, but that’s all she’s interested in.”
While watching the clip during Sunday’s Tell-All, Janelle–- who previously argued Kody’s point, claiming the two “had all aspects of a marriage and they were healthy”-– responded by laughing at her ex-husband’s comments.
“You like his pecs?” Sukanya asked Janelle.
“Could you believe that?” Janelle responded while laughing. “I was like … Sorry. He didn’t know what he’s talking about. I mean, it was fine. I didn’t care. There’s so much more to a marriage than that, right?
“I don’t know,” she continued. “Like, he loves his pecs so much that I’m like, ‘Hmm, I don’t know. You love your pecs so much now.’ And, like, they’re great but, like … it’s not what it’s about for me.”
Janelle went on to tell Sukanya that her relationship with Kody was more emotional than physical, while Kody made a point to tell Sukanya and viewers that producers “missed something” he said in his confessional.
“You know, the great pecs and the six-pack abs is all about the fact that Janelle has always seen me as a physical specimen and as a resource and not ever really dove into my humanity,” he said.
Sukanya then asked Kody to clarify if he felt as if he was a “physical boy toy” to Janelle, to which Kody confirmed.
“Yes,” he said. ” … Like, some pool boy … I felt like a piece of meat.”
Kody was then asked if he and Janelle “just had great sex,” to which Kody did not provide a clear answer.

Christine has always been my favorite but I am really enjoying Jenelle this season. I don’t think I have ever seen Jenelle laugh as hard as she did at Kody’s imaginary pecs and 6 pack comment.
