Alexa Alfia & Brennon Lemieux of ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 3 Are Expecting Their First Child Together

These pod-mates have procreated.

Another Love Is Blind baby is on the way!

Alexa Alfia and Brennon Lemieux, who met and married on Season 3 of the Netflix dating series, announced on Friday that they are expecting their first child together.

Alexa shared her pregnancy news on social media with a series of photos of her and Brennon-– including one where the couple can be seen holding up a prop newspaper featuring the text “Lemieux: The Next Gen, Coming to a Crib Near You Summer 2024.”

“The best of me and the best of you, baby Lemieux coming soon,” Alexa captioned the post.

“We wanted this to happen and so we’re just grateful to be here,” Alexa told People. “It’s just been such a big part of my life [and] I’m the worst secret keeper … so I’m ready for it to be out there!”

Alexa, who is due this summer, said she’s “obsessed” with being pregnant, as it’s something she had been looking forward to.

“I just love looking in the mirror, because I remember not being pregnant and looking in the mirror and [thinking], ‘Oh, I just can’t wait for something to be there,” she said. “Now there is, and I’m like, I love it! I just lay my hands on my stomach and just rub it all the time. I’m obsessed.”

Alexa and Brennon found out they were expecting in November after more than a year of trying to conceive.

“Everybody says the same thing … which is when you least expect something to happen, it will happen,” Brennon said. “That was the case meeting each other. I had stopped dating, seeing people. She had stopped, and we just met on a show so it was by happenstance. And the same thing happened with this, which is why you don’t really expect anything to happen and it happened. So it’s always good.”

Alexa noted that after some unsuccessful fertility treatments, she was concerned that she and Brennon would not be able to have kids.

“For me personally, and this isn’t how I view women, but I was put on this earth to be a mom,” she said. “Since I was a child, [I would be asked], ‘What do you want to be when you’re older?’ And people are like, I want to be a princess or an astronaut or whatever it is. I was like, ‘I want to be a mom.’ That’s all I ever wanted to be.

“And so, it was just a very down time for me,” she continued. “I was really going through it because I’m like, I can’t do the one thing that I feel like I was put on this earth to do. And for me, it strips you of your womanhood. That’s what it felt like. And feeling like I was broken.”

While “going through all these emotions,” Alexa said she even asked her husband if he wished he had married someone that could give him a child.

“He’s like, ‘Alexa, what’s going to happen is going to happen. I love you no matter what,’” she recalled.

While Alexa and Brennon were ultimately able to conceive naturally, the couple had been planning to set up an IVF appointment right before Alexa learned she was pregnant–- news she initially doubted.

“When I found out, I definitely didn’t even think even a little bit that I was [pregnant],” she said. “I took some [tests] and it was positive and I just kept telling [Brennon] when it came back positive, I was like, ‘My body works, my body works!”

Alexa and Brennon already learned their baby’s sex, but are waiting to reveal the news to family at a party in the coming weeks.

The couple said they are excited for their baby’s arrival and are even looking forward to sharing their unique love story with them in the future.

“I’m so excited for one day when our child’s like, ‘How did you guys meet?’” Alexa said. “It’s like, ‘Do you have 10 hours? Sit down, let’s watch a few episodes.”

Alexa and Brennon are the second couple from the ‘Love Is Blind’ franchise to announce a pregnancy, with Season 4 couple Zack Goytowski and Bliss Poureetezadi sharing their own baby news in November.

A new season of ‘Love Is Blind’ begins streaming on Netflix February 14.
