Rachel Leviss Awkwardly Apologizes to Katie Maloney & Dayna Kathan For Posting Shady IG Story Following Awards Show

“Sorry for dissing you guys on social media…and again on my podcast…and probably on next week’s podcast episode, as well.”

After recently suffering from re-poster’s remorse, Rachel Leviss decided to issue apologies to Katie Maloney and Dayna Kathan in an effort to create content for her podcast clear her conscience.

On this week’s episode of her Rachel Goes Rogue podcast, the former Vanderpump Rules star confessed to reposting a shady Instagram Story after last week’s iHeartRadio Music Awards that named her among the night’s best dressed and Katie and Dayna among the worst-dressed attendees.

(Like Rachel, Dayna is a former cast member of ‘Vanderpump Rules’; she and Katie attended the awards together as friends and co-hosts of the Disrespectfully podcast.)

Rachel admitted on her own podcast this week that she had “encouraged” Jo Wenberg–- Tom Schwartz’s quirky, kind of-sort of girlfriend-– to share images from the article proclaiming Rachel as one of the best-dressed at the awards to her Instagram Story, while also noting that Katie and Dayna had ended up on the opposite list.

Rachel proceeded to repost Jo’s Instagram Story, admitting that doing so “felt good in the moment.”

“I guess my ego got in the way a little bit,” she said. “And I encouraged Jo to post the best and worst showing Katie and Dayna. Then I reposted it.”

While Rachel said she initially felt good about the shady Instagram Story, she later decided that she needed to “take accountability” for what she had done.

“I decided that was not my best decision,” she said. “Because I am in this space of learning and growing and also being kind. And it’s so easy to get on the same level as some of these other people. But that’s not who I want to be.”

“Maybe you should give comedy a try, because that’s hilarious, Rach.”

Rachel went on to tell listeners that she “decided to reach out and apologize to Katie and Dayna personally” for her actions.

At the time that she recorded her episode, Rachel said she hadn’t received a response from either Katie or Dayna, though she said her message to Katie was confirmed “read.” However, she also told listeners that she had stated in the respective apologies that a response was not necessary.

Although Katie and Dayna opted not to reply to Rachel personally, the two later issued a joint response via their ‘Disrespectfully’ Instagram page. The podcast hosts posted an extremely fitting clip from the movie “Erin Brockovich” to their Instagram Story, along with zero context.

“Do they teach beauty queens how to apologize? Because you suck at it,” it states. This was obviously a response to Rachel (a former beauty queen) and her attempt at make amends.

  1. I like watching these shows, but no price is worth being on a successful one!

Raquel will be 50 and STILL known as the girl who banged her friends bf, AND put up with a cheating bf for years just to be a “star”.
