Lisa Vanderpump Addresses Recent Allegations Made Against Andy Cohen: “Damn Right I’m On His Side!”

“I know better than to bite the hand host that feeds me.”

Lisa Vanderpump has pledged her allegiance to #TeamAndy.

During an interview on The Talk this week, the Vanderpump Rules matriarch was asked to comment on the recent allegations of inappropriate behavior made by former cast members from the network against both Bravo and Andy Cohen, to which Lisa confirmed that she’s on Andy’s side, calling his behavior “playful.”

“I think I’ve been one of the few people that have done Watch What Happens Live on their own for many years and had a kind of very connected relationship, and he’s playful,” Lisa said this week, according to People.

As The Ashley previously told you, Andy and Bravo were hit with a lawsuit in February by former Real Housewives of New York City star Leah McSweeney, accusing both of encouraging substance abuse, playing favorites, overlooking sexually predatory behavior and more.

Lisa went on to say this week that both she and Andy are “inappropriately naughty,” which is something she claims Bravo is “a lot of the time,” as well.

“I mean…she isn’t wrong.”

“He’s a gay man that we have a lot of fun with,” she added. “So, am I on his side? Damn right, I’m on his side.”

As for the allegations that Andy engages in drug use with some of the Bravoleberties and/or guests of ‘Watch What Happens Live,’ Lisa said there’s “no way” that happens.

“When it comes to drug allegations, a thousand percent I would know and no way does it ever happen,” she said.

Lisa, taking all of Andy’s (alleged) secrets to the grave.

Lisa also noted that she found it “strange” that many of the allegations made against Andy and Bravo are coming from individuals who are no longer employed by the network.

As you may know, in addition to the civil lawsuit filed by Leah in February, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville accused Andy of sexual harassment in a letter written by her attorney, just a week before Leah’s lawsuit was filed.

“Perfect timing, right?!”

In the legal filing, Brandi alleged that Andy invited her over FaceTime to watch him have sex with another Bravo star– later revealed to be Below Deck’s Kate Chastain– while he was “obviously inebriated.”

Andy later apologized for the incident, calling it an “inappropriate” joke.

Lisa is not the first Bravo star to speak out in defense of Andy in recent months. Leah’s former ‘RHONY’ co-star Luann de Lesseps has also denied the claims made against Andy, as has Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey.

  1. I enjoy this website content, but this website is quasi-unuseable on mobile, and I can’t be the only person who feels that way. The top story will open automatically if you touch anywhere close to it to scroll down, backing out means you have to then navigate back to the home page and hope you don’t accidentally open the first story again (repeat, repeat). The ads are so cumbersome that it’s like getting gum off your shoe with every move. Functionality is a C-.
