Add another limb to the very large (and ever-expanding) Duggar Family Tree!

Former Counting On star Jeremiah Duggar welcomed yet another child— the third in three years— with his wife Hannah on Tuesday, May 13. The couple announced their new daughter’s birth on Instagram on Sunday.

“There’s absolutely nothing like meeting and falling in love with a new baby!” Jeremiah and Hannah captioned some photos of the newborn. “We are overjoyed to welcome to our family Emery ‘Emy’ Jane Duggar.”

Hannah and Jeremiah– who is the 11th child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar— have been shooting out spawn at a Jim Bob-and-Michelle pace since they got hitched in 2022. They are already parents to daughters Brynley Noelle, 2, and Brielle, 1. They announced they were expecting Blessing No. 3 on Christmas Day 2024, the same day Brynley turned two.

(For those of you doing the reproduction math at home, Hannah has been married to Jeremiah for about 37 months….and has been pregnant for about 27 of those months.)

“Life with our little girls has been wonderful and we are so excited about adding a third little girl to this group late next spring!” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post in December.

Baby Emery is just the latest of many new additions to the Duggar Clan. 

In March, Jeremiah’s sister Jinger Duggar Vuolo and her husband Jeremy welcomed their third child, a boy named Finnegan. In January, Jeremiah’s twin brother Jed and his wife Katey welcomed their own set of twins— Elsie and Emma— bringing their offspring count to four. 

It is unknown if Michelle was in the room for Baby Emery’s birth; however, Jinger recently revealed on her podcast that the Duggar matriarch has been present for almost all of her (now) 37 grandchildren’s’ births. 

“I think that she’s only missed two [births],” Jinger said, to which Jeremy added, “She came a week before [our kids’ births], she stayed a week-and-a-half after and she’s fully committed. So she comes and serves. She’s like, taking everything off of your plate every morning. I mean, she wakes up before any of us.”

Next up in the Duggar birthing stirrups will be Jeremiah’s sister Jessa Duggar Seewald, who is currently pregnant with her sixth child. Jessa recently took to YouTube to defend her decision (and assumingly some of her siblings’ decisions) to have so many kids. 

“When it comes to negative opinions— and I know this is not the case for everyone— but for me, personally, I’ve never had anyone walk up to my face and be nasty or rude,” she said. “But I have heard a lot of rude and unnecessary comments. But generally, those are just online. 

“People will be like, ‘Oh, you’re breeding like rabbits’ or ‘You’re crazy’ or ‘Are you trying to follow in your mom’s footsteps? Are you going to have 19?’”

“We always take it one at a time…Ben’s concern is always my health, and also, our capacity to care for each one and love them well and help raise them up until adulthood,” Jessa said. “Our ultimate goal is to see each one come to know and love the Lord. So I don’t necessarily think that’s it a quantity thing like, ‘Oh you can’t do that well if you have a bunch’ or ‘You can only do it well if you have a few.’”
