The Challenge returns to MTV with a new season this month, in which fan favorites and former winners from the show will face off against– and in some cases, team up with– reality TV stars who are making their debut on the long-running franchise.
Premiering July 31, The Challenge: Vets and New Threats will usher in a “new era” of ‘The Challenge’– one that has seen “battled-hardened” vets of the show fight for the title of Challenge Champion over the last 40 seasons.

“This season, fresh faces and new threats have entered the arena with one goal: to upend the old order and take it all,” the logline for Season 41 reads. “The Vets, driven by legacy and pride, will need to adapt fast. Their established hierarchy is crumbling, and leaning on past alliances, and experience is no longer reliable– it’s about navigating the ever-shifting landscape of alliances, betrayals, and unknown threats.
“To win, Veterans and New Threats will be forced to work together, unless they’re forced to turn on each other,” the logline continues. “Nothing is guaranteed.”

In the Season 41 trailer, longtime ‘Challenge’ host TJ Lavin warns both teams of what– and who– lies ahead.
“These vets wrote the playbook and they have all had to earn their stripes,” TJ says. “And now, new threats will enter the game, hungry to forge a new legacy. Legend and rookie, side by side together.
“Now, is that gonna help you or are you gonna get burned?” TJ asks. “It is the dawn of a new era.”

So basically Fresh Meat III?
I will continue refusing to watch any program in which Johnny “Bananas” appears. I will happily miss this one as well. Why help put money into the pockets of such a POS?
So no Corey.
At this point this franchise is just enabling these people to remain jobless.
