Veronica Peters, former girlfriend of Micah Plath, is continuing to speak out against TLC regarding the alleged abuse she claims to have suffered while filming Season 7 of Welcome to Plathville.
On Monday, Veronica– who claimed earlier this month that she was never paid for filming Season 7– posted to Instagram an alleged phone conversation between herself and a TLC executive in which the latter can be heard accusing Veronica of violating her contract with the show as well as her non-disclosure agreement (NDA) by choosing to reveal certain information about the Plath family “that hasn’t been aired” on the TLC series yet.
Veronica and Micah split shortly after Micah and his younger brother Isaac Plath got into a brutal physical fight at their sister Lydia Plath’s wedding in February. Despite the breakup, Veronica is set to appear in the upcoming season of the Plath family’s TLC series, as she and Micah were still dating when Season 7 was filmed.
Leading up to the premiere of the new season, Veronica has been voicing her disdain for the Plath family and TLC for allegedly covering up the Plath’s extremely problematic behavior, including “underage drinking, illegal activities, abuse and domestic violence”– all of which she claims occurred on camera, including at Lydia’s wedding. Veronica has also insisted that she asked the network for help “several times” in order to “feel safe,” to no avail.
During the phone conversation she posted, Veronica argues with the woman from TLC that an NDA is essentially voided “if abuse or crime happens”; however, the woman insists that neither have occurred.
“ … but there’s no abuse or crime that happened,” she says. “You’ve also posted private text messages with TLC … that violates your confidentiality [agreement].”
Veronica goes on to argue that her text messages are not part of the confidentiality clause in her contract, nor do they have anything to do with the show or how she’s been treated, to which the woman notes that Veronica has revealed “information about the payment schedule,” as well as “what episodes have been delivered”– neither of which are “public knowledge,” she claims.
When Veronica insists that the episode names for the upcoming season are public knowledge, as she claims they are listed on the TLC website, the woman tells Veronica she is wrong.
“Well, when it’s premiering has been exhibited, but not some of the information in the text messages and what you’re posting about the show,” she says, adding that Veronica recently told followers that she hoped TLC would air “the part where [Ethan Plath] said, ‘I’m going to slit your throat like the pig you are'” in the upcoming season, which the woman claims is considered information about the show.

In response to Veronica correcting the exact wording of the remark Ethan allegedly made to her on-camera, the woman from TLC informs Veronica that she doesn’t think their conversation is going to be productive.
“ … we wanted to get an understanding of what the security issue/risk that had involvement with us and what was needed from us,” she says. “I don’t know what we can offer. I can discuss further with TLC. Part of this is us asking for you to please stop posting those posts … .”
“I will not be doing that,” Veronica interjects. “No, I will be speaking up. Sorry.”
Before the recording ends, the woman informs Veronica that it’s her decision if she wants to continue posting the content online, but that she wanted to remind Veronica of what she agreed to in her release.
“Yeah, I didn’t agree to abuse or anything, but thank you,” Veronica replies.

In the caption of her video, Veronica doubled down on the claims she made during the phone conversation, while accusing the network of attempting to gaslight its audience.
“There was never any abuse or crime – according to the network profiting off it,” she wrote. “Gaslighting the audience while covering for predators? Classic TLC, Discovery, Warner Bros. Common law and anyone with a conscience knows better.”
Veronica also went on to post a series of screenshots and quotes to her Instagram Story regarding the situation, including one in which she called out the network for claiming that “no crime or abuse happened,” while providing examples of the show promoting and/or covering instances of alleged underage drinking, violent assault and battery and more.
As The Ashley previously reported, Olivia Plath– Ethan’s ex-wife and Micah’s former sister-in-law– called out TLC, Discovery and ‘Welcome to Plathville’ producers Friday on social media for allegedly covering up disturbing statements and actions made by her ex and his family, including one incident in which she informed TLC that Ethan allegedly had a “hit list” of people he wanted to shoot, one of whom was the show’s executive producer. She has also called out the Plaths in recent months for allegedly making homophobic, racist and threatening remarks over the years.

I hope that VP can find peace!
Her mean spirit will NEVER serve her well…
If she behaves in the manor she exhibits on the show I find it hard to believe her career doesn’t suffer from such. She needs help with emotional stability and I truly hope she finds it.
get rid of Micah’s GFriend she thnx shes way better then even tlc
Get rid of Veronica she thinks shes better then everyone period and shes not pretty or nice
Odd that she was so desperate to get that engagement ring, isn’t it? Has she/he/they explained that?
Casual transphobia isn’t cute.
Neither is He/She/. They/Them
If I were Veronica or Olivia for that matter I would retain an attorney and take TLC to court. If even half of what they’re alleging actually happened and TLC did nothing about it then they have a civil suit and possibly even a criminal case.
I think it’s about time that these networks that air these reality shows are held accountable for the things that they are either wilfully ignoring or covering up in order to continue to make money. Until someone stands up to them and forces them to take accountability they will keep doing this.
It almost sounds like Veronica may have already contacted an attorney to see what she legally can and can’t say. I love that Olivia and Veronica are exposing the network. It’s about time that someone did.
TLC is awful, as many can attest – Jill Duggar Dillard, Jacob Rolloff have all told stories about the network’s fraud and abuse.
Veronica isn’t innocent in all this. She was mentally abusive and a bully. She’s also conniving and cruel. If The Plath family are in fact doing things they shouldn’t, there should be consequences, but Veronica is only showing what a hypocrite she is. Lastly, if Ethan had a hit list and threatened to slit Veronica’s throat like a pig than that’s criminal and he should be in jail. The Plath family has so many issues that it’s disgusting.
I know we all talk a big game about the David Eason and Nate Griffith the being the next lowlives to kill their partners, but I think Ethan Plath is truly the scariest of them all. It feels like a matter of time before all of them snap, but I think Ethan truly is the most delusional of the three and has all the resources and potential to harm several people whenever he finally breaks.
We’re talking about the same network that decided to keep the Duggars on air with a clever rebrand- they aren’t going to suddenly take the high road just because there are receipts to support the victims in this situation.
Remember when TLC was the learning channel?
He gives serial killer vibes as does his Dad Barry!
And so does the new teen husband -or young husband-of Lydia (I am guessing he is a teen but he could be early 20s). And major creep vibes.
I don’t think so. He probably is very uncomfortable for how he constantly gets picked on by the Plath boy’s. Zac is just a little socially awkward, but who wouldn’t be if it’s the first time you’re on a reality show.
I have never watched more than a few minutes of episodes of this show because this family seemed off and fake as heck. And given TLC’s track record of sticking their head in the sand when it comes to “problematic” cast members of various shows, I am not at all surprised that one of their “executives” tried to bully a cast member into silence for daring to speak out against TLC’s preferred narrative.
Ethan and Micah Plath deserve serious jail time. TLC is disgusting
Why do they deserve “serious jail time?’
