From hoping to die to hoping to convince people that you’re important, it’s been a busy week for the stars/former stars of the Teen Mom franchise! In an effort to bring you up-to-date on the latest Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 news, The Ashley brings you the Teen Mom News Pile.
Here are some of the major (and minor but interesting) ‘Teen Mom’-related things that happened over the last week or so…
Kail Lowry Says She Hopes to be Dead in 20 Years
Kail recently opened up about (even more) plastic surgery she’s about to get and, even though the procedure may only last for about 20 years, the ‘Teen Mom’ star isn’t worried, as she says she hopes to be dead in 20 years.
No…seriously.
During the most-recent episode of her Coffee Convos podcast, the former ‘Teen Mom 2’ star revealed that she is having plastic surgery on her neck to remove her double chin, a procedure that her doctor told her may need to be redone in 20 years.
“Hopefully in 20 years I’ll be taking a dirt nap anyway,” Kail said.
Kail— who is currently only 33 years old— surprised her co-host Lindsie Chrisley with that comment.
“[You’ll only be] 53, you psychopath!” Lindsie told Kail, before reminding her that her youngest kids, Valley and Verse, will only be 22 years old in 20 years.

“I know,” Kail said. “But I’m worth more to them dead than I am alive. So it would honestly only benefit them.”
Kail– who is also the mother of five other kids— recently talked about her own father’s impending death at a young age. As The Ashley recently reported, Kail revealed on her podcast that her estranged dad, Raymond Lowry, is currently in hospice and dying from Stage 4 COPD. Although Kail has only met her dad once (during the filming of her 16 and Pregnant episode), she stated that she plans to fly to Texas to confront him on his deathbed about why he abandoned her as a child.
Amber Portwood Says She “Saved” ‘Teen Mom’ Multiple Times & Was More Like a Crew Member Than a Cast Member: “I Made Decisions!”
Amber was back on the couch— and back on TikTok Live— this week to discuss a cornucopia of crash-out topics, including the pull she says she had with the higher-ups at ‘Teen Mom,’ and how she saved the MTV reality show from ruin multiple times.
“I wasn’t even, like, [a] cast [member] when I was on that show. [I] was like crew,” she said. “You don’t even understand! I made decisions for that s**t and never got paid for this, that and the other.”
“I’m not a f**king joke!” she insisted later on in the Live. “And I don’t get treated like a joke in this industry. I never have!”
Amber stated that, despite the fact that she was edited to be the show’s villain, the producers knew to treat her like the celebrity that she is.
“They do what they do with their editing, but when it comes to behind the scenes, they know how to treat me! Don’t play with me. I’m done with it.
“I’m too old for this s**t!”
Later, The Couched One added that she is well-known in the entertainment industry.
“In the inside of what I do, the actual people in this industry that know me— which is a lot of f**king people— a lot, seriously. They know me. They know I’m honest, and they know I’m going to give them exactly what the truth is.”
During the same crashout conversation, Amber accused producers of “covering up” things up for her fellow ‘Teen Mom’ stars.
“How they raise their kids, what they do, things that have happened that MTV covered up, all kinds of stuff,” Amber said, before going on to insist that she always showed the viewers her real life.
“My s**t’s never been covered up!” she said. “That’s the only difference.”
Amber called herself “one in a million” for giving viewers “the actual truth on a reality show.”
“I showed the truth in life,” she continued. “I showed how addiction can mess you up. I showed the consequences of it. Everything. I showed everything!”
Amber went on to then proclaim that she was responsible for the show continuing as long as it has.
“I had to save this show multiple times! Multiple seasons! Even in an off-season when that s**t happened with my ex!” she insisted.
(The Ashley is pretty sure Amber is talking about her 2019 arrest for domestic violence against her second baby daddy Andrew Glennon.)
“We weren’t filming anymore! The season was done three weeks before, but Paramount sent a whole crew, flew them out and all that!” Amber said.
She then, again, reminded everyone that she “walked away from hundreds of thousands of dollars” by leaving ‘Next Chapter’ earlier this year.
“[Could you walk away] just because you saw it was messing up your family?” Amber asked. “Probably not…let me tell you something right now. I’m a f**king woman. I’m 35. I could give you wisdom that a 67-year-old could give you. That’s where my life went. And that’s something I’m proud of because at least I learned something from it. But that’s just the truth, and that’s why I help so many f**king people.”
“Stop thinking of me as the way that they’re portraying me,” Ambr added. “I’m the villain of the show, right? I played it well, didn’t I? It is what it is. I know how to do my job.
“I’m too good at my job. I’ve been told that by so many f**king people. I’m good at my job. I’m very good.”
Jenelle Evans’ Sister Ashleigh Claims Their Family Cut Them Off When Jenelle Was Cast on ‘Teen Mom 2’; Says Jenelle Has Been “Malicious” Since Their Father’s Passing
Jenelle’s sister Ashleigh was back on TikTok this week to provide an update on a variety of things, including her ever-strained relationship with the fired ‘Teen Mom 2’ star. In a video posted to TikTok, Ashleigh— who has not had a relationship with Jenelle for years— blamed her sister for making their father Bob Evans‘ recent death even more difficult.
“Since the passing of my late father, my family has been extremely disrespectful toward me and other people who are involved in the whole situation. And this includes, unfortunately, my sister Jenelle,” Ashleigh said, later adding that Jenelle has made tying up the loose ends following their father’s death “a difficult process.”
Ashleigh then explained that her mom, Barbara, asked her to stop making videos on social media while Jenelle was going through her divorce court drama. (As The Ashley reported, the former swampy soulmates recently settled their divorce, and now only have to duke it out over custody and child support for their daughter Ensley.)
“I had to wait until my sister was done with her divorce from David, because there is a lot of stuff going on there, and my mother personally asked me not to go back on here because my sister has just been malicious,” she said.
(As The Ashley previously reported, Jenelle and Barbara are not speaking currently.)
Ashleigh went on to talk about how Jenelle (and her position on ‘Teen Mom 2’) caused a lot of their family members to cut the whole Evans clan off back in the early days of the show.
“When my sister ended up on the show, a lot of my mom’s side of the family cut contact as well, because they seen how things played out,” she said. “It was uncomfortable.”
“Unfortunately, I can’t choose the family that I was born into,” Ashleigh said. “This is my family.”
Cheyenne Floyd Reveals “Scary” Interaction Between Daughter Ryder & Fan at Disneyland
Cheyenne Floyd took to TikTok this week to share a “scary” incident that happened to her daughter Ryder recently during a family trip to Disneyland.
As fans know, the ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ star shares Ryder with Cory Wharton; she’s also a mom to son Ace with husband Zach Davis and is currently pregnant with her third child. Meanwhile, Cory shares daughters Mila and Maya with ex-girlfriend Taylor Selfridge.
While filming a TikTok of herself and Ace cooking this week, Cheyenne shared an encounter with a fan that happened during a recent visit to Disneyland, while asking viewers what they would have done in the “situation.”
“So this girl came up to Ryder and poked her in the stomach and was like, ‘Ryder!’ I’m like, why would she poke her? Like, who? What?” Cheyenne recalled. “And then she looks at Zach and goes, ‘Where’s your do-rag, Zach?’”
Cheyenne went on to explain that she didn’t witness the fan encounter firsthand, but was informed of what happened by someone who was with their family at the theme park. She also claimed that as this person was telling her the story, Cory revealed that the same fan had also approached his youngest daughter Maya at the park.
“ … Cory goes, ‘I know who you’re talking about, she ran up and tried to hug Maya,’ and I’m like, what is happening?” Cheyenne continued. “… Zach explained like, you know, [the fan] was definitely special needs and that whoever she was with came and apologized.”
At this point in the TikTok, Zach interjected to note that the person didn’t come up to apologize in the moment, with Cheyenne explaining that she didn’t know an apology was made at all until everyone was off of the ride on which the encounter happened.
Zach proceeded to provide a (rather loud) reenactment of the events, claiming that Ryder and Mila were “startled” by the fan encounter and that Mila even expressed that she was “scared” by what happened.
“My initial reaction, it was like, you know, I damn near about tackled her,” Zach said. “But then I look and I’m like, OK, I see, you know, she has special needs and I can’t do that and I’m not about to go off on her, it’s understandable.”
The Wharton and Davis kids not only appear on MTV, nit they’re also frequently featured on their parents’ various social media pages, with Ryder and Ace also participating in modeling. Coincidentally, Disney (specifically the Disney Store) is one of the brands Ryder has worked with multiple times.

I’ve been crying on and off the last 3 days because I dreamed of my mom, who passed 12 years ago, and it hurts so bad that dreams are the only way I will ever see her again…

Wow kail wtf, I lost my mother in my early 20s it broke me, I’ll never get over it, I live with it because I have no choice ( she fought and lost a battle with cancer) she would have given anything to still be here.

Same. My mom died when I was 23. It was and will always be the worst time of my life watching her pass slowly and painfully from cancer. She cried in her final days about had all she wanted was to see where my life would go. I’m 35 now and I would literally trade ANYTHING for just 5 more minutes with her. What a disgusting and selfish statement

Kail is a dumb bitch. How could anyone say that. I have a 40 year old friend. 4 kids and she has a cancer in her liver that only 2 percent of people get a year and there’s no cure. My grandpa died an agonizing death of cancer at 55. These are people who would do/have done anything to live. This is beyond offensive. I can’t even imagine being this ignorant.
