Jenelle Evans has been living the HIGH! (HIGH!) life, partying on the Las Vegas Strip with her pal Tori Rhyne almost nightly, but it appears that her frequent late nights out are catching up with her.
The Sun broke the news on Wednesday that someone recently called Child Protective Services (CPS) on the former Teen Mom star for leaving her two youngest children, Kaiser and Ensley, home alone with her 16-year-old son Jace while she and Tori partied in Vegas nearly every night since Tori moved in earlier this month. The tipsy twosome had been documenting themselves whooping it up “in da club,” at events and at bars on social media.
“It’s gotten so bad that someone close to the family has contacted CPS,” the site’s insider claimed.
According to The Ashley‘s sources, the call came from inside the house.
“Jace called CPS on Jenelle for leaving him to watch the kids constantly,” the source said.
When contacted by The Sun, Jenelle denied that she leaves Kaiser and Ensley with Jace, and stated that she uses a babysitter from Care.com.
“She does have a regular babysitter, that’s true, but it’s Jace a lot of the time too,” the source said. “But he’s not really doing much in terms of supervising his siblings, he’s just physically there in the house with them while Jenelle is out.”
As The Ashley previously reported, Jace took to social media on Tuesday to post a series of screenshots featuring text conversations between him and Jenelle. Jace claimed that Jenelle was “unstable” and showed messages of Jenelle cussing at him and accusing him of lying about Jenelle’s ex, David Eason, strangling him back in 2023.
Jenelle responded after Jace exposed their texts, writing on social media that he is struggling mentally and has been in trouble with the law.
“Jace posting our private texts was his reaction to being rightfully disciplined,” Jenelle wrote. “While it hurts to see those moments shared publicly, I know it comes from a place of struggle.”
“The messages you were sending were pretty serious!” one person wrote on Tuesday in response to Jenelle’s statement posted to her Facebook page.
“And the way he’s been acting is very serious. Don’t comment on a situation if you haven’t read all the texts,” Jenelle responded.
The Ashley’s source states that Jace has been unhappy at Jenelle’s since returning from the home of his dad, Andrew Lewis, in June.
“He has made it very clear to all the adults in his life that he wants to go back to North Carolina and not live in that house with Jenelle anymore, especially since Tori has been there,” the source said. “Tori and Jenelle fight a lot and that adds to the chaos of the house.”
Speaking of Tori, she made it clear on Tuesday that she is not having such a “la-dee-dah time” living in Vegas with Jenelle and her kids.
“Just one of those mfkn days,” Tori wrote in the caption of a photo of herself with her middle finger in the air. (As you do…)
This is not the first time Jenelle has been on the CPS’ radar in Las Vegas. The Sun reported in October 2024 that Jenelle was allegedly investigated by CPS following incidents at the schools of her sons Jace and Kaiser, as well as the unearthing of a 911 call made by her then-boooooyfriend “August Keen” (real name: Daniel Miranda), in which “August” claimed that Jenelle was drunk and hitting him.
CPS allegedly came to Jenelle’s home in Las Vegas after those incidents.
“A CPS card was left on her door that [said] she needed to call them because she wasn’t there,” The Sun reported at the time.
After he and Jenelle broke up in January, “August” made some eyebrow-raising claims regarding Jenelle’s alleged treatment of Jace.
In a message posted to TikTok in March, “August” claimed that Jenelle once made her then-15-year-old son drive her to “August’s” home in the middle of the night, due to Jenelle allegedly being too “drunk and high” to drive herself. (Jace does not currently have a driver’s license or learner’s permit, just FYI.)
“How about you tell people the truth, how you were so drunk and high that you made JACE drive you to my house at 4 a.m., 45 minutes away, and he bragged to me about doing 120mph the whole way to my house while you laughed,” he wrote at the time.
On Wednesday, “August” resurfaced randomly to weigh in on the current situation happening at Casa de Jenelle.
“From my perspective, a person that lived under the same roof for almost one year with Jenelle, Jace, Kaiser and Ensley, what I saw was a 14-15 year old (at the time) who was adjusting to many new things, like a new custody situation, a new city, a new home, a new school, new friends, new job back on MTV, etc.,” he told OK! magazine.
“August” also chose to reveal that Jace is “on probation now and isn’t too happy about the terms.”
(This indicates that “August” has had contact with Jenelle or someone in her circle semi-recently, as that’s the only way “August” would know about Jace’s probation.)
“[Jace] seems to be having a rough time following the rules and having respect for authoritative figures,” “August” said.
He also advised his ex to “protect” her other children.
“She is also navigating how to deal with this, while processing everything herself,” he said. “I wish them all the best in hopes they all get through it as a unit and family.”

I wonder how often these kids make it to school and the condition they are in when they actually attend… I wonder why something more hasn’t happened before this, honestly. I know they’ve been called on her before but I am shocked these kids are STILL with her. I don’t get it. Yeah, it’s not illegal to leave your kids home with a 16 year old sibling but it isn’t his responsibility. Jenelle acts like she’s childless and in her early 20’s than she does a mom of three, in her 30’s. I partied a lot, out and about, when I was in my 20’s but I had my first children (I had twins) at 29 and after that, I rarely went out even with my husband. I’m 42 now and sober- but I could not tell you the last time I even remember going out to a club since I’ve had children. I don’t even know if I have, to be honest… LOL
Nor do most of us oldsters want to go to Da Club. She better be careful to not get an STD from banging a rando DJ in the bathroom. At least her tubes are tied.
I wish people would recognize that cps are not some type of magical fries. There is not a foster family or treatment center waiting for these kids to show up and fix them. In fact those places could be worse. It sucks

Jenelle is not Telfone don. It’s catching up slow but sure. The system is broken. We have know one to blame but ourselves. Not enough people were paying attention.

CPS are indeed not magical fries. The only magical fries I’ve ever had were in California.
Unfortunately it’s not illegal to leave your 16 year old to babysit their siblings, so I’m not sure how much CPS can really do. They might have a stand if they drug test her. I doubt she’s only smoking weed.
In my opinion, having your older child stay with your younger children isn’t even an issue. It’s how often she does it and for the reasons she does it. You have to run to a doctors appointment or just want to grocery shop alone, cool that’s no big deal. But you don’t want to me a mother so you’re off partying all the time and leaving your child to play parent? No. She’s a disgrace.
I think the issue is that it was the 16 year old who called CPS because he was not willingly watching the kids. It’s not like Jenelle asked him to watch the kids and he agreed. She just left and relied on the fact that her son is 16.
I wonder if she would get in trouble if he left home and left them there. She didn’t ask him to babysit, he didn’t consent. So if he left them there would SHE be charged?

If they’d been born in Sweden they would have been removed years ago. Psychological abuse and witnessing violence is a crime and will get your children removed from your home and you a criminal record.

These poor kids need a break from the chaos of living with Jenelle. There is very little chance that Tori will still be living with Jenelle by the time Halloween gets here, and Jenelle will be spiraling even more by then.

I feel for these 3 kids. I can’t imagine the chaos of being a young teen and even younger like Ensley and Kaiser and being raised in this environment. Jenelle and her friend living with you.. all of jaces problems, babysitters, the constant drama and screaming and instability. It’s just so unfortunate and I wish I could somehow help those kids. I hope at some point in their lives they each can give and receive real love and care from someone.
This situation with the kids getting older is like a runaway freight train. You can’t just stop the train, you have to do the work to slow it down and course correct. Jenelle and, to a large degree, all the adults in these kids lives lack any skills, ability or willingness to step up and do the work. It is absolutely heartbreaking!

Jace is in therapy.
No he isn’t, she refuses to give him his meds and let him go to a proper therapist. She’s even said this herself. Not only is the inpatient treatment home too expensive, but so is his therapy and medications (according to her). She took him OUT of therapy even when they were in NC (again, she stated this herself). She has never wanted the kids, any of them, to actually see a regular therapist or even doctor. A great deal of that likely does have to do with things they could reveal which she doesn’t want out there. But, she’s Jenelle and clearly doesn’t want the focus taken away from her own woes and angst. Also, very little she has ever done makes even a lick of sense.
Seeing a court ordered or cps case related psychologist is not the same thing as being in steady therapy and treatment.
She made 1.5 million on OF; she can afford to send him to therapy.
When she was given custody, Jenelle stopped taking him to the therapist Barb had had him seeing for years and she also stopped giving him the meds he was prescribed. Instead, she allowed him to smoke pot 24/7. It’s possible he’s seeing a CPS mandated psychologist, but only for the bare minimum Jenelle needs to allow to keep herself out of hot water. It’s nothing like what he was getting prior to going to live on the swamp and not even a fraction of what he needs.
Yep. And some things, like leaving him along for long stretches of time are great, but not really criminal either. You KNOW that there’s at the bare minimum criminal levels of negligence of Ensley and Kaiser.
My mom did that to me. She will openly say that she took me out because cps would get involved. I think that’s nice.

CPS almost never protects the child. My grandma was a foster parent. The amount of horrible shit her foster kids told her happened to them over the years before they were finally removed from their parents would make you sick to your stomach.
