Jace Evans is once again on the move! The teen son of Jenelle Evans is no longer living at the fired Teen Mom star’s Vegas home, following an incident in which Jace leaked private text conversations between him and his mother that showed Jenelle in a very unflattering light.
TMZ broke the news on Wednesday— and The Ashley can confirm— that Jace has been once again shipped off to North Carolina. Although “whoever” leaked the story to TMZ told the site that Jenelle “allowed” her son to go back to his home state because she’s “thinks it’s for the best,” The Ashley’s sources tell her that is not exactly what happened.
Sources tell The Ashley that Jace was on a plane within hours of him leaking the text messages on social media on Tuesday.
“Jenelle told him basically she’s done with him and that she wants nothing to do with him,” the source said. (As The Ashley previously reported, the texts showed Jenelle telling her 16-year-old son, “F**K YOU” and calling him a liar and more.)
The person who leaked the story to TMZ painted a picture in Jenelle’s favor and told the site that Jace’s move was “mainly because he’s currently on probation,” but The Ashley’s source say that wasn’t the reason Jace was sent away. (The sources did confirm that Jace is on probation; however, it was OK’d for him to leave the state. A judge will need to approve having the probation officially transferred to North Carolina. TMZ reports that Jace will have to take anger management courses as part of his probation requirements.)
As The Ashley reported, Jace called CPS on his mother for frequently leaving him to watch his younger siblings, Kaiser and Ensley, while she partied hard nearly nightly on the Las Vegas strip with her pal Tori Rhyne. TMZ denies that Jace called CPS on his mother, but The Ashley’s sources tell her he did.
“After CPS was contacted, Jenelle was pissed and that’s when she cussed him out and basically told Jace [he’s dead to her],” the source said, adding that Jace then posted the texts online to “show how my mother really is.”
Jenelle later claimed that Jace did it out of spite because she had punished him.
Soon after “Jace was on a plane. She was done and he wanted to go back to North Carolina,” the source said.
As ‘Teen Mom’ fans know, Jenelle’s mother Barbara— who raised Jace for the majority of his life— lives in North Carolina. Not only that, but his father, Andrew Lewis, recently moved back to the Tar Heel State, where most of Andrew’s extended family resides, so Jace has plenty of family and friends there.
Jenelle sent Jace to Florida in May to live with Andrew but he was only there a few weeks before he was sent back to Las Vegas. Jenelle told the media that Jace “learned his lesson” about how Andrew is, and that he didn’t want to live with his dad anymore. According to The Ashley’s sources, though, that was not exactly how it played out.
“Jace did not want to go back to Vegas,” the source said. “He has never been happy there. And when Tori moved in [earlier this month], things got even worse for Jace.”
The Ashley is not revealing where Jace is currently staying in North Carolina, but, according to her source “He is safe and very happy to be there.”
“They’re hoping him living there will be made permanent,” the source added.
The Ashley is not sure how custody/child support will work now that Jace is living in North Carolina.

Um, I take some serious offense to this. On the contrary, I usually DO go to The Ashley first because not only is it shown over and over to be accurate, Ashley doesn’t claim to know something… if she doesn’t know. But my experience is typically whatever we hear here, comes out to be the truth. The “real exclusive” always seems to be exactly what The Ashley reports, but Jenelle just doesn’t get any $ from it. So, sorry Jenelle but you can piss off. Jenelle is just mad that we are all over here talking shit about the shit “mother” she is!
She is physically incapable of telling the truth. We have never gotten wrong information from The Ashley. Meanwhile, Jenelle wouldn’t know the truth if it smacked her in the face.
I hope Jace has a safe place to stay in NC and I hope he can turn things around now that Jenelle has (hopefully) fully walked away from him. Having Jenelle in his life has caused so much damage.

Yeah, that was unofficially confirmed by a story Jace posted to his IG maybe a day later of his online classes. Can’t remember what he said exactly but it was along the lines of “working online to get my life started” or something similar.
2019 it was ordered the kids had to be in school and not home school. But Barb had custody then so I don’t know if that applied to Jace or not.
He had posted recently posted he was going to home schooling.
I really want Jace to be the first teen mom baby to write a tell all about growing up on that shit show and spill all the details about his trashtastic family. Hope he makes a fortune, finds healing, peace and true happiness. Oh, and doesn’t share a dime with any of them (just the siblings).

She’s ruined 3 children’s lives. The damage is so severe at this point. For the 3 kids and all other parties involved. Such a disappointment and a sad situation. Jenelle has had countless times to straighten up but she is not the type of person capable of doing so. Just like Amber, Jenelle is not meant to be a mother. Some people aren’t. Only difference is that Jenelle’s exes are all terrible fathers and cannot take custody of the kids like Gary has for Leah. Best thing that could happen right now is send Kaiser to Doris. I actually think that August is the one who sold the story to TMZ, not Andrew. August was just attempting to paint Jenelle in a less crappy light and knew about Jace’s probation. I highly doubt that Andrew would be sticking up for Jenelle.

The neighbor kids we grew up with had it 10 times worse than Jace, when they became of age all 3 left and went on to better themselves and became wonderful adults. The 2 boys opened up a refurbishing business and to this day it is doing well, and the other boy works in construction doing road work.

The actual nerve of this woman to leave her baby with her mother to raise while she partied, repeatedly cry that all she wanted was her son back and her mother was being unfair, to now turn around and treat him like this??? Girl, I don’t care what he did. Jenelle is supposed to be his mother!! She is supposed to be the responsible adult. He is still a child and Jenelle honestly has a lot to make up for. By the time Ensley reaches puberty, she’ll have gotten rid of all 3 of her kids and can continue living like she has no responsibilities in the world…without having to worry about CPS ever getting involved again. She’s already shipped Kieser off but brought him back due to the backlash she received. I’m so happy he’s going back to where he feels safe. I hope after anger management he is able to get some actual therapy, anybody in his situation would need that. And if schooling isn’t his thing I hope someone helps him look at getting skills to go into trades, you can make really good money that way.

When a mother doesn’t love their child, that person has a very long road ahead of them. And I don’t mean when a child is placed for adoption- that can be a selfless decision. I mean when a mother makes it clear she doesn’t love a child, like Jenelle with Jace. He will struggle with believing he is loved his whole life because if his own mother didn’t love him, how could anyone else? He’ll think he’s the problem, especially if ensley really is the golden child, because he’ll think she is capable but he’s just not good enough
