Jenelle Evans‘ estranged sister Ashleigh had a lot to say about the former Teen Mom star’s recent antics, while also applauding Jenelle’s son Jace for “standing up for himself” recently to get himself out of Jenelle’s house.
Ashleigh took to TikTok this week to slam her sister for her frequent partying, as well as for allegedly not taking care of Jace, as well as her son Kaiser and daughter Ensley. Ashleigh stated that she hopes someone will “intervene” to help Jenelle’s youngest two kids, now that Jace is no longer living with them and Jenelle in Las Vegas.
“Unfortunately, my sister’s not there to take care of her kids or do the right thing. It’s sad,” Ashleigh— who lives in North Carolina— said.
As The Ashley previously reported, Jace was sent to North Carolina last week after he publicly leaked text messages between him and his mom that showed Jenelle in a very unflattering light. That same day, he was sent to live at his grandma Barbara‘s house, where he remains as of press time. Ashleigh stated that she has spoken to her 16-year-old nephew since he touched down in North Carolina.
“Jace is safe, he’s doing well. I will say that I am proud of him for sticking up for himself and things are getting better for him and that’s all that anybody needs to know,” Ashleigh said.
Ashleigh has stated in the past that she’d be willing to take Jace into her home. While she said she still feels that way, she claims Jace is “good where he’s at now” and that he is “making the right choices”. She also stated that Jace has a “huge support system here in North Carolina,” and that he “needs services,” which he will get in North Carolina.
Ashleigh— who hasn’t spoken to the fired ‘Teen Mom’ star in years but is on good terms with Barbara— said she worries about Ensley and Kaiser.
“I feel really bad for Kaiser because he’s having behavioral issues as well and he’s not behaving in school,” she said. “There’s been a lot of things going on with him and unfortunately, his father Nathan [Griffith] is in prison now, so a lot of people do not understand that Kaiser’s been through a lot and it’s traumatizing to him so he’s … acting out for attention…Ensley, I do feel bad for her. I feel like she may be brainwashed and told certain things, but I don’t really know.”
As for Jenelle, though, Ashleigh said she has no use for her and her recent hard-partying ways.
“I don’t have sympathy for my sister,” she said. “People have asked me to go help her [but] there is no helping my sister when you have substance abuse and mental health issues. From what I heard today from my family and when I spoke to Jace, my sister is not stable. She’s mentally unstable.”
(As The Ashley previously reported, Jace called Jenelle “really unstable” when he released the text messages last week.)
Ashleigh also brought up Jenelle’s party pal, Tori Rhyne, who moved to Vegas earlier this month and had been hitting the bars and clubs of Sin City with Jenelle frequently, according to their social media posts. (Things between Jenelle and Tori are not going well right now, and Tori will be moving back to North Carolina.)
According to Ashleigh, Tori has been a “very bad influence” on Jenelle since before Jenelle even appeared on 16 and Pregnant.
“It’s just really sad and unfortunate, I mean, you’re in your thirties now, you shouldn’t be going out partying … ,” Ashleigh said, adding that the frequency Jenelle and Tori were going out was an issue, as was them flaunting their late-night escapades on social media.
“[The situation] has been “very difficult to watch,” she added.
Jenelle has denied much of what Jace claimed about her in his posts, but Ashleigh stated that, in her opinion, it’s typical Jenelle behavior.
“It’s been really, really stressful for the past six months,” she said. “People don’t know what’s been going on with my sister Jenelle. People do not know the whole full story. So far, she’s done nothing but lie like she normally does.
“…It’s a complete cycle with her and other individuals just don’t see that, they just see the things that she posts online,” Ashleigh added.
Jenelle recently confirmed that she is no longer talking to her mom, Barbara, and in recent weeks has blamed Barb for how she (and Jace) grew up. In the comment section of her post, Ashleigh defended their mother.
“I’m tired of everyone blaming my mother for my sister’s poor behavior. She’s an adult,” Ashleigh wrote. “There’s plenty of people that I know that had poor childhood that came out just fine and we did not have a bad childhood. My mother might’ve said things out of frustration that she may be regrets but we’re all human. She was at her breaking point many times almost in her 60’s raising my infant nephew, dealing with my sister’s nonsense, disrespect, and not doing the right thing. Yes, my mother might have had got a divorce for my biological father, but things were pretty normal for the most part after their divorce.”
Jenelle has yet to address her sister’s recent statements about her.

Parent’s are human parent’s make mistakes . Jenelle is an adult . Constantly blaming your parents for mistakes keeps you from progressing as an adult . Jenelle has been the same parent since she had Jace . The entire reason barb had him was because she couldn’t stop partying . It’s not surprising its continued . I hope one day all her children have peace

I don’t think it’s fair to put any blame on Tori. And I definitely don’t think any blame falls on Barb, not at Jenelle’s age. Jenelle is a grown woman. The majority of the population had a childhood they had to recover from. But everyone doesn’t act like Jenelle, refuse to grow up, and just pretend every little thing that goes wrong is her mother’s fault. Jenelle’s magic carpet ride through life will one day end. And she’s probably going to be the crazy old crack head that lives behind the drugstore.
While I do believe that Ashleigh is telling the truth about Jenelle, that crooked wig sometimes makes it hard to take her seriously. I get that she has a disorder, I just wish that she took the time to straighten it out before posting photos.

Ashley is so righ. I was born 2mmmti 2 very abusive people including one who physically disabled me for life. I dont blame either one of them any time something goes wrong ib my life.
