‘Teen Mom’ Star Jenelle Evans Says She’d Like to Reconnect with Her Ex Kieffer Delp: “I’d Be Up for That!”

“Swooning over your ex ain’t illegal, Jenelle.”

Jenelle Evans pining over her old soulmate Kieffer Delp certainly wasn’t on my 2025 Bingo card, but here we are…

After failing to make a love connection with rapper Lil Wayne, the fired Teen Mom star is back on the dating scene and, apparently, feeling nostalgic for the companionship of one of her past soulmates.

While discussing her current relationship status with The Sun this week, Jenelle– who finalized her divorce from ex-husband David Eason in July– revealed that if she were to reconnect with one man from her past, it “would have to be Kieffer [Delp].”

“If he had his life together and stable I would be up for that,” Jenelle said.

“You and tha Kieffa were always fightin’ and breaking tha law on tha regula! But otha than that, you were frickin’ Romeo and Juliet!”

Jenelle blamed her and Kieffer’s hobby of getting high (HIGH!) as the reason they didn’t work out.

“He’s really funny, he was really protective of me and the only problem between our relationship was him, ya know, being on drugs,” she said.

Raise your hand if you’re wondering if this is real life or if we’ve all just entered the Teen Mom Twilight Zone…

As Teen Mom 2 fans likely remember, Jenelle’s green-hoodie-wearing former booooyfriend had a long history of drug addiction as well as legal issues– many of which were drug-related. Kieffer spent 18 months in prison after being convicted of four felonies– including operating a meth lab out of his apartment– back in 2018.

Jenelle’s legally challenged former lover went on to make another trip to the slammer after pleading guilty to a “Criminal Mischief/Damaging Property” charge that he received just six days after he was released from prison in 2020.

“Wild times man…wild freakin’ times…”

While Kieffer was once livin’ La Vida Law-Breaking, he revealed in July 2024 on X that he was out of jail, off of drugs and had apparently traded in his infamous hoodie for a #1 Dad shirt by fathering a baby girl. Five months later, Kieffer shared on Facebook that he was “a year clean” and in March of this year, he confirmed that he was still sober and seemingly still present in his daughter’s life.

“I’m here I’m clean I’m doin what I gotta do and I just saw my eleven-month-old daughter take her first steps,” Kieffer said, before applauding himself for not living the “Homeless HIGH life” he used to.

“I was there. Not in a tent high, not in jail,” he posted to Facebook in March. “For once I’m where I’m supposed to be doin what I’m supposed to be doin all the way and it really is nice.”

Kieffer provided another sobriety update in May, proudly posting to Facebook that he was “19 months clean.”

“ … lets f**kin go !!!!” he wrote.

Fortunately (or maybe not) for Kieffer, Jenelle told The Sun this week that if her ex “had his life together,” she’d be down to give their romance another shot.

“Did someone say ‘shot,’ dude?!”

“ … Yes, I would be up for that, but right now I think he’s doing good,” she said. “I don’t know, I haven’t really asked. Last time he posted a tweet it was of a baby and he said, ‘This is my baby girl,’ so I have no idea what’s going on, but I’m happy for him.”

  1. Oh RIGHT just *him* being on drugs. Not you also using and contributing to each other’s addictions. Grow up, Jenelle.

    1. Right! It’s the “if he has his life together” comment for me, as if she is mother Theresa. Her shit is nowhere near together, more like spread throughout the planet 😂

  2. On behalf of us all, RUN keiffer. You’re doing well and seemingly have your life together. This draws Jenelle in like a month to a flame, wedging her way in so she can re-ruin your life. RUUUUUN

    1. 1000% couldn’t agree more 👏👏Jenelle saying the only problem was Kiefer on drugs, wth? They BOTH went HARDCORE squatting and shooting heroin and those are the special memories she’s talking about? OMG this girl really is nuts!
So glad Jace is out of there

  3. Freaking yes! Good for Keiffer! I love seeing growth no matter who it is. If he has really changed then he wouldn’t have anything to do with Jenelle now.

  4. As weird as this might be to say, Kieffer is doing damn good in life and that is precisely where he needs to stay. Jenelle has no place in his life, nor should she. They are like fire and gasoline, and she’ll only fuck up his life (or, at least help him do it). Jenelle is pretty much fire and gasoline with just about anyone, regardless of gender. No one needs that hot mess in their life.

She needs to focus on straightening out her life, and keeping it straight for a few years before bringing anyone into it. If getting your rocks off is the desire, you’ve got two hands and they make countless devices that can help you, go on with yourself. You don’t need a man to fulfill that need.

She seems even more desperate than usual to remain as relevant as she thinks she is. I’m going to guess that like at least a few other TM folks, she’s losing cash hand over fist and only just now starting to realize some of the grave financial decisions she’s made over the years are coming to the head she was warned they would. There’s been an awful lot more (in quantity, definitely not quality) interviews, videos, posts, etc….recently.

Maybe they’re not getting paid as much as they once were….dun..dun..duuuuuuuuuun

    1. First of all. Being a felon ain’t illegal. And-I get money.
I always hoped Keifer would get it together. He did seem like he was a nice person. He just had a drug problem. He had some horrible things happen to him In his childhood. Unfortunately, I’m not surprised Jenelle would do this. Yeah, she will ruin his life for sure. It is so sad that she just doesn’t seem to care about those kids at all. I grew up like that and it left me terribly damaged.

      1. The newest ex actually has something going for her, she’ll be fine.

David? He’ll find a new dummy. There’s someone for everyone.

  5. Why would Kieffer want to reconnect?

Last I heard, he was a year sober and had a daughter.

Jenelle is the hot mess wetting the bed, breaking toilet seats…etc.

Maybe she should connect with a therapist and get sober herself.

    1. I can’t believe she admitted to repeatedly wetting the bed 😂 If she had actual medical issues, that would be understandable and not laughable. But it’s Jenelle…

  6. I’m honestly not surprised at all by this. Jenelle is always desperate and “can’t be alone” and she always has bounced back to Kieffer. A tad pathetic for a 33 year old mother of three but… this is Jenelle we’re talking about.

  7. This time around, Janelle would be the “bad influence”. The amount of money that Janelle the first years on the show may not have been a whole lot but for those two it was enough to stay high as hell . I sincerely hopes Kieffer continues to ignore her.

  8. I think she just wants someone to take her and be with her, also wants to make her other exes jealous talking about guys. That is why she talked about lil Wayne

  9. Right. HIM ya know being on drugs. SHE was also on drugs! Remember the scene when they both were HIGH and she starts running full force after him while he was in the car then she pretended he slammed her hand in the door so she could stop the car. She is real stable.

    1. I’ll never forget that. And when she and Kieffer got high on H, and they both were so out of it that they almost fell asleep on the couch.

    1. I agree, because the ones that’ll pay the biggest price is her kids. Nothing but one train-wreck relationship after the next, exposure to drugs, violence, and a very unstable mother that can’t for the life of her just focus on being a present, loving, mature, consistent, and PATIENT mother. She needs to focus on her reactivity and her codependency, especially on marijuana and terribly toxic men. The kids will be VERY affected as adults, and Jace is already reflecting that. Best thing that could happen is very intensive and long term therapy, both individually and family for ALL of them. Including Barb. Get it together and do the good work in therapy for the kids, they deserve to have their mom & grandma doing the internal work needed to create a calm & stable & loving environment. It’s the kid’s only hope!
