Ariana Biermann of Bravo’s Next Gen NYC dropped a bomb on Tuesday when she revealed to social media followers that her freckles were “laser[ed] off” without her permission when she was 14 years old at the direction of her mom, former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak.
The 23 year old shared the disturbing story while applying artificial freckles during a makeup tutorial. As she stamped the faux-freckles onto her face and nose, Ariana explained that she “always” includes this step in her makeup routine due to the fact that she no longer has any freckles of her own.
“Every time I do it, it makes me think of the fact that I would not be putting on these freckles had my mother not have gotten rid of my freckles when I was 14,” she said.
Ariana proceeded to tell her followers that when she was 14, her mom sent her to get a “facial” and at some point during the spa treatment, her friend asked where Ariana’s freckles were going. When Ariana questioned the person doing her facial, the woman allegedly claimed that she had been instructed by Kim to remove them.
“Your mom told me that you didn’t like them and you wanted me to remove them with the facial, like, lasering them off,” Ariana recalled.
Ariana said that while she used to “love [her] freckles,” she has very few remaining as a result of the deceptive facial.
“So now, I am constantly stamping them on and trying to make them look even just remotely like what mine looked like growing up,” she said. “I miss my freckles.”
Ariana also revealed in her video that when she brought up the freckle story to her mom on the phone recently, Kim “started laughing.”
“But mom, you’re a jackass for that,” Ariana said. “I love you, but insane.”
Kim went on to comment on Ariana’s video with a series of laughing emojis, suggesting that she still finds the situation to be quite funny.
“ … hahaha jackass,” Ariana replied.
As fans of ‘Next Gen NYC’ know, freckles aren’t the only thing Kim has taken from Ariana without permission.
According to Page Six, Ariana revealed in the premiere episode of the Bravo series that her mom and dad, Kroy Biermann, spent all of her money amid their messy divorce. (While Kroy is not Ariana’s biological father, he adopted her and her older sister Brielle after marrying Kim in 2011.)
“I have been on TV since I was 5 years old,” Ariana told viewers, referring to her time on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ as well as her family’s Bravo spinoff, Don’t Be Tardy. “I did reality television with my family and then I started posting on Instagram.
“I got my first brand deal when I was 14,” she continued. “I was doing, like, three posts a week and you get paid astronomical[ly] to do a story or to do an Instagram post and I made quite a bit of money. But, unfortunately, my parents took my money.”
While Ariana said she was unaware of what exactly her parents had spent her money on, she said she only learned that the money was gone two years ago.
“I don’t even know how much money I made over the time period,” she said. “Nobody was honest, there was no transparency and I have no idea where it actually went.”
While appearing on an episode of Watch What Happens Live this summer, host Andy Cohen asked Kim about the claims Ariana made, to which the mom of six stated that her daughter’s funds were “spent on bills” out of necessity.
“I was left holding the bag for the family,” Kim said. “I was left with nothing, so I had to figure it out fast.”
Though Kim insisted that she had paid back Ariana for “the bills and stuff,” she admitted that she had yet to repay her daughter for the money she made from brand deals “and all that stuff.” On an episode of ‘WWHL’ that Ariana appeared on later that month, she explained that both Kim and Kroy were to blame for “taking the money.”
“Everyone wants this to be just my mother,” she said. “This was a joint partnership in taking the money.”

Kim is awful. You can definitely tell Ariana is slowly pulling away from her as she realizes all the harm Kim has caused her and her siblings. Disgusting that she would take out her insecurities on her children, but I guess we should not be surprised…
Imagine being an insecure teenager and your mother is so critical of your looks that she does something without you knowing. This isn’t mom saying ‘you’re getting your hair cut shorter,’ it’s altering your skin! That is disgusting behavior.
Kim and Kroy are lucky the two oldest girls don’t have eating disorders. Kim is projecting her own insecurities here. Brielle told a similar story about Kim pressuring her to get fillers.
Kim used to crack me up in the early seasons of RH. Can’t stand her now. “Bills and stuff”?! More like casinos and stuff.
And $200 bottle of wine, apparently! According to Hudson, Ariana’s boyfriend.
Im confused Kim says she was left holding the bag,meaning she used Ariana’s earnings after Kroy left? How is it Kroy’s fault too?How is it not illegal to take money your child earned for your own personal use?
Im not defending it, im just putting in my experience. Most of those funds you can use “for the benefit of the child.” As we know, kids are expensive. So as long as she can justify that amount was spent on the child (a car, clothes, food, education, etc).
There’s also the fact that at least with the child stars, one parent cannot work. It gets super complicated.
But at the end of the day, nothing will happen to Kim unless Ariana wants it to, and she is still clearly under the thrall of the narcissist Kim. Hopefully she’ll get some therapy someday and realize her mom doesn’t actually care about her
Kroy was dipping in as well, and he and Kim likely have joint accounts- one of them had to have had a joint account with Ariana, since she was a minor at the time.
Ariana says she loves her mum and they are cool best friends. Of course she loves Kim it’s her mum, but does she like her as a bestie atm, probably not. What Kim did to those girls is putred. By outing her mum even jokingly means she is still angry for being treated like that. I think Hudson is so good for Ariana he is level headed and won’t put up with her treating Ariana with anything other than respect. He knows the right things to say or not stay and he won’t put up with Kim’s bs. I love him for loving her like that.
Yeah you can tell Ariana is realizing all the messed up things Kim has done to her and Brielle.

And I used to think Kim was the most relatable. So disappointing that she has squandered her kids money. Maybe all the things her mum had to say were truth?
Do we even know the real reason her and Kroy divorced? They both seemed super in love with each other.
I believe they divorced due to money issues because Kim has a huge gambling issue and obviously an extravagant lifestyle he could no longer provide after he stopped playing football and I had heard he was doing pills, BIG time. I’m sure they were “super in love” when money was flowing and as soon as he stopped bringing in those funds from no longer playing football, and her (their?) show was cancelled real world issues started hitting them.

Ariana is still being taken advantage of by Kim. To this day she borrows money from her instead of getting an actual job. For Kim to say she blew through her money and spent it on bills is bullshit. Kim gambled away $700,000 in two years. They took extravagant vacations and lived in an unnecessary large mansion. Kroy claims she blew through 1.5 million gambling during their marriage. And like many reality stars (who seem to think they are special and paying taxes isn’t their obligation as it is for the rest of us) she owes Uncle Sam 1.8 million in taxes and fees. And God only knows how much she has spent on plastic surgery. Ariana gives Kim way too much grace. Kim is a taker and Ariana is a giver.
Absolutely! Their home loan was only a little over a million (which isn’t that much considering the money he made from football and that she made from the show(s) and brand deals).
Yet, instead of paying it off and not getting almost foreclosed on multiple times, they wasted their earnings on plastic surgery, designer duds, luxury cars, chefs, nannies, etc.
@smarti ~ it’s CRAZY to me that they didn’t pay outright for their house; i didn’t realize the loan amt was so small (for ‘celebs’ who IIRC were both working and raking in 💰 when they bought the place).
although they would’ve still owed property tax…who knows if they’d have kept up with that. 🤔🤷🏼♀️
I think it’s very fortunate neither of Kim’s daughters ended up with extreme body dysmorphia. Though I do think they may have inherited the fame whore aesthetic.
Her daughter Brielle was on Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind (with Kim) and she is very much obsessed with her looks. She started getting plastic surgery when she was a teenager with Kim’s approval. They both spent the majority of time talking about their looks. The rest of the time they were downing everyone else’s look in confessionals.
