Stars from the Bachelor franchise are trading in their roses for renovation tools on HGTV new design competition series, Bachelor Mansion Takeover.
In the upcoming series, 12 home design/renovation-savvy former ‘Bachelor,’ Bachelorette, Golden Bachelor and Golden Bachelorette stars will return to the Bachelor Mansion to give the famed California property a dramatic makeover while taking part in weekly elimination challenges that will put their skills to the test.
At the end of the season, one ‘Bachelor’ alum will be named the winner, earning bragging rights and a $100,000 cash prize.
The six-episode series will be hosted by Season 5 ‘Bachelor’-turned-franchise-host Jesse Palmer, while fellow alums Tayshia Adams and Tyler Cameron will serve as judges, joined by a guest judge each week to evaluate the transformed spaces– including some never-before-seen rooms inside of the iconic Bachelor Mansion.
“When we learned the Bachelor Mansion needed a serious makeover, we knew only HGTV could give the iconic property a renovation worthy of the name,” Howard Lee, CCO of US Networks for Warner Bros. Discovery said in a press release for the upcoming show. “We’re welcoming fan favorites and memorable cast members from throughout ‘Bachelor’ history to the HGTV family and can’t wait to see what they get up to in this first of its kind competition for the network.”
