Tyler Baltierra caused a stir on The Interwebs on Halloween after he posted photos of himself in a very form-fitting Superman suit, prompting many fans to accuse him of being “indecent” and “sick” for trying to show off the outline of his, um, “unit” while trick-or-treating with his kids. Though Tyler ended up deleting the photo, the Teen Mom star and his wife Catelynn Lowell used the latest episode of their podcast to set the record straight on the situation.
Tyler also used this week’s episode of Cate & Ty Break It Down! to ponder if his posting nudie-cutie pics on OnlyFans in the past is the reason fans now assume he’s being sexual, even when he’s not. Ty even stated that he worries incidents like the Superman Schlong Situation may be his “energetic karma” for previously being on OnlyFans.
“I wanted to talk about the Halloween ‘incident’ with your ding-a-ling,” Catelynn said, before repeating some of the many (many) comments the post garnered from fans who were not thrilled to see the outline of Tyler’s baby batter blaster in the family Halloween photos.

“‘Why are you out there commando with your kids, you sicko?'” Catelynn said some of the comments stated.
She went on to explain that she and Tyler wanted a picture of just them in their costumes.
“I was so pumped, dude,” Tyler said, explaining that he wasn’t thinking about the, um, bulge that was visible in the skintight Superman suit. “…I posted the one of just me and you because it’s cute and we never get pictures together. It’s Halloween and we’re in suits. We’re in costumes! I’m not the first dad to ever be Superman, OK? I’m not the first guy to ever wear a mother f**king Superman suit for Halloween.”
“Also, you’re not the first dad to have a penis,” Cate chimed in.
Tyler went on to explain that he posted the photo and then immediately started seeing the plethora of outraged comments about his pork whistle being, um, present.
“I started seeing more and more and I’m like, ‘Nope. Stop. We’re not doing this right now.’ And I deleted it,” he said, adding that he did try to crop his man-meat out and repost the photo but was unsuccessful.
Tyler stood by his feelings that he shouldn’t have had to delete the photo because of, um, love worm being prominent in it.
“I don’t think I have to moderate or pay attention as much as other people do,” he said. “I think it’s bulls**t that people really think I’m going commando in a f**king Superman suit? Are you kidding me?”
“Are you kidding? People really think that he’s in a tight leather suit with no underwear on?” Catelynn added. “Let alone, when are you ever commando around our kids? You never are.”
Catelynn went on to explain that Tyler is very modest about his body at home, given that he lives with three daughters.
“If people were to really know us in our household, Tyler is very particular about his body, about where he gets dressed. He’s never commando around our kids or nothing like that,” she added.
Tyler stated that he would never “go commando” in a Halloween costume, and that he was upset that so many people assumed he would.
“I don’t think it was warranted,” he said. “I thought it was bulls**t actually. It actually bothered me.”
Tyler then contemplated the fact that he and Catelynn may have brought the overly sexual vibe on themselves.
“Maybe it’s karma…maybe we should have never did the [OnlyFans] thing,” Tyler said. “Because I feel like, how many other dudes are Superman, Batman, Spiderman, with their kids posting pictures? And no one is looking at f**king crotches but you people. So you guys are f**king weird.
“You want me to be weird to justify you being weird,” he continued. “I’m not the weird one– you are!”
“Maybe this is just energetic karma from, you know, having a good time over on [OnlyFans],” Tyler added later in the podcast. “I’m not really sure, but it feels that way.”
As The Ashley previously reported, Tyler launched his OnlyFans site in 2023, stating that Catelynn urged him to put his sexy-time pics on the for-pay platform. Tyler posted risqué content— including the infamous photos of him modeling for the camera in a red thong— and stated that his OnlyFans had brought in well over $100,000 by February 2024. In March 2025, however, he revealed that he and Catelynn had shut down his OnlyFans as soon contact with their bio daughter Carly was cut by Carly’s parents Brandon and Teresa Davis, just in case it was an issue.
Anyway, during the podcast, Tyler addressed the comments many fans made on his Halloween photo that he should be covering up his junk better.
“You can’t do nothing about that, so what do you want me to do?” he asked. “If you want me to f**king tuck it, tape it, wrap it, whatever you think I should do, then I hope you’re saying that to every other female, every other dude, every other person who is wearing something [tight or form-fitting]! I’m covered head to toe in a suit!”
Tyler also responded to the people who commented that he should “wear a cup.”
“Have you guys ever seen anyone wear a cup in a skintight suit?” he said. “It looks stupid! At least I had compression leggings because it was cold. I didn’t want to be cold. I was, like, triple-layered, bro…”
He then brought up the fact that no one made comments about Catelynn’s body in the post’s comment section.
“It’s rare that you can say this but I feel like it’s true: it’s a double standard sexist thing. No one was saying s**t about your big t*ts in the dress,” Tyler said, referring to how Catelynn’s body looked in her witch costume.
Tyler went on to oh-so-eloquently point out that the outline of Catelynn’s “big ol’ chested humps” were visible in her costume.
“Maybe because it was all females, maybe they’re just secretly jealous that their husbands have [smaller penises]?” Catelynn suggested.
“I don’t know what you want me to do with it?” Tyler said. “Someone actually said, ‘Tape it.’ And people were liking [that comment] like, ‘Exactly, there are so many things he could do.’ I was going to say, if this situation was switched and they were saying, ‘Yeah [Catelynn] should tape [her boobs] down…
“You guys would all be freaking out if a dude commented on a picture of a woman in a bikini or whatever or a one-piece and said ‘Tape your f**king t*ts down, this is so f**king perverted. You’re out in public with your kids and your t*ts are just there,'” he continued. “If I commented that on any [woman’s photo] I would get ripped apart… But because I’m a dude, and I happen to have the anatomy that I have, no, I’m not taping it for your convenience because you’re a f**king freak! Ain’t no one looking at crotches but you!”
“My feelings were it was a cute moment. The kids were super-excited to see me dressed up and you dressed up and I thought we looked dope, I thought we all looked cool,” Catelynn said.
“I’m not the first guy to ever dress up in a tight suit. Sorry guys, they don’t make f**king baggy Superman suits! …But regardless of what we just said, I don’t give a f**k. You guys are making it something weird. I’m not being weird, you’re making things weird, OK?”

I find this particularly annoying because my feelings for C&T have gone from straight up admiration during their original 16 and Pregnant episode, to downright disgust through the years. Every single woman I’ve known that went past a year weren’t doing it for their enjoyment, honey. LMAO. I went with my son for two years and I would have gladly been done after one year but he was very comforted by it and I did it for his comfort only. My pediatrician said that yes, while after a year it’s not for their main food source, there are many benefits to going past two years. I have people on my breastfeeding support page (My son is 6 so it’s been YEARS, but I’m still on the page to give support) that are trying to find ways to wean but their child is so comforted/attached to breastfeeding that it’s nearly impossible to quit. Also, in other countries it’s very common to go past a year. SMH so yeah you are going to get flack and also seem to be sexualizing it…
