David Eason Sees Daughter Ensley for First Time in Two Years After She’s Hospitalized in Las Vegas: Exclusive Details

“‘Member me?”

It’s been nearly two years since David Eason has seen his daughter Ensley, but over the weekend, The Ashley can confirm they were reunited after David flew from North Carolina to Las Vegas to visit the almost-nine-year-old in the hospital.

Earlier in the week, Ensley’s mom, Jenelle Evans, announced on social media that Ensley had been hospitalized with a respiratory infection. On Saturday, someone claiming to be a flight attendant posted to Reddit that David had been on her plane heading to Vegas, causing fans to speculate that David might be heading to see Ensley, or to collect items he was awarded in his divorce settlement that he has stated in court that Jenelle has not yet given him.

The Ashley can confirm that David’s visit to Sin City was, indeed, to see his daughter.

According to court documents obtained by The Ashley, David was previously banned from seeing Ensley until he took a court-ordered psychological evaluation. However, that likely was not in play here due to Ensley’s hospitalization being “due to a medical emergency.”

Jenelle and David are set to battle it out in court in March over permanent custody and child support for Ensley. However, there’s currently some sort of temporary custody plan in place that would likely require Jenelle to notify David of any medical crisis happening to Ensley.

The um, “happy” family before the separation…

In addition, David would be allowed to visit his daughter during a medical emergency despite not having done the psychological evaluation. Jenelle (or someone else) likely had to supervise his visit, though.

(The Ashley is not sure how the restraining order that Jenelle currently has against David would affect her being near him. However, it’s very likely that it would be allowed due to the fact that they are both Ensley’s parents and she’s having a medical emergency.)

David would not have had to get a court order to allow him to visit Ensley in the hospital, as it’s likely written into the temporary custody agreement that he can do so under certain circumstances.

Over the last year or so, Jenelle has stated that David has called Ensley sporadically but has not paid any child support since Jenelle left him in February 2024. Jenelle filed for full custody of Ensley in 2024, asking that David pay her child support and have supervised visits with Ensley.

“I miss little Emily so much!”

In 2025, David filed an answer to Jenelle’s bid for full custody, asking that he get full custody of Ensley (despite not seeing her in over a year at that point).

Jenelle currently lives in Las Vegas, while David’s living in North Carolina on the boat he was awarded in his divorce from Jenelle.

“What kid wouldn’t want to go live with her dad she hasn’t seen in two years, on a broken down boat!? That’s luxury living!”

The case has been continued multiple times but should be officially decided in March.

  1. Those poor kids have no privacy whatsoever. She is so classless for posting a picture of her kids in a hospital bed, and it was disgusting when she divulged private medical information about Jace and Kaiser’s to the whole internet. I do hope Endsley feels better and that Jenelle isn’t stressing her out.

  2. I hate when people post pics of their kids in the hospital. Kids deserve privacy and respect, especially from their parents.

  3. crazy how jenelle swears she “broke the cycle” yet is still letting these kids get traumatized, only thing she broke was those kids innocence and spirits

  4. Omg as soon as I saw the hospital photo of ensley I scrolled all the way past. So freaking invasive and horrible. Cringiest thing ever

    1. There’s a subset of CP that focuses on illness and injury.
      It’s a fetish.
Jenelle has no sense of danger and it’s sick.

  5. I wish people would stop taking pictures of their kids sick in the hospital. It’s invasive and certainly doesn’t offer them privacy. Anything for likes and views I guess🙄

    1. It’s influencer culture and I’ve never felt like more of an old lady because I don’t understand it myself. It’s like a domino effect – watching one person do it then it seems like everyone is doing it

    1. especially with that cringey “my ex is coming over which lingerie should i wear” tweet she tweeted a few months back thinking it was petty and cute🤢

    2. I went there, too.
They are both single… messy… just… dysfunctional humans.

I’d bet she bought his ticket, too.
Let him stay in the apartment/house because “she’s a good mom”… like she tried to do when her ex strangled his girlfriend again, was on substances again. (then went on a harassment campaign to the victim with his estranged wife… because “she’s a good mom. That’s her son’s father! Yeah! I offered to let him into my house! I’m a good mom!!”

It’s a pattern with both of them. The ex is evil, the new partner joins in on dysfunction junction… when single, the ex is great and misunderstood and blah blah blah, it was really the ex-new-partner who was the issue, and they get weird and entangled until it implodes again.
Her little “Lingere for my ex” Look at my new body, you know you miss it posts… like… I’d be shocked if they didn’t hang out and smoke and do whatever when they aren’t at the hospital. It never fails.

I do hope Ensley is alright and they can keep the trailerpark shit show away from that hospital. I was hospitalized every year with respiratory illness. It’s rough as hell, especially with the circus being your family. (I relate to that, too)
