Chris Harrison is gearing up for a return to reality TV more than four years after leaving his longtime hosting gig with the Bachelor franchise.
According to a recent post by Lindsay Liles Casting, Chris will not only be resuming his role as a reality TV host, he’ll also be returning to the dating-show genre he worked in for nearly 20 years on the ‘Bachelor’ and its various spinoffs.
“NOW CASTING! Chris Harrison is back with a new show, and we’re looking for men and women who are sincerely seeking love and a traditional marriage,” Lindsay Liles Casting posted to social media this week.
The post states that “a prominent streaming service” is casting singles 21 and older who “want to be in a traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values.” It also notes that the show is looking for individuals “who believe in clear roles, long-term commitment, and building a life together– and who are dating with real intention.”
On the casting website, interested singles are required to answer more than two dozen questions about themselves, including their dating history, dating dealbreakers and what a “traditional marriage” means to them. Prospective cast members are also asked to provide a headshot, as well as a full-body photo and short introduction video.
While the show title and premiere date remain unknown, the upcoming series will presumably be much different than ‘The Bachelor’ and Bachelorette, as the former host of the franchise claimed in December 2023 that his relationship with the ABC dating series “wasn’t healthy.”
“It changed my life, but at the same time, I can also be grateful that I’m gone,” Chris stated on an episode of Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets podcast. “That’s a relationship I don’t need to be in anymore because it wasn’t healthy.”
As The Ashley previously told you, Chris left the ‘Bachelor’ franchise in June 2021, though months before his official departure, he stepped back from his hosting duties after coming to the defense of ‘Bachelor’ contestant Rachael Kirkconnell when pictures of her attending a Southern plantation-themed party surfaced online. Chris defended Rachael in a now-infamous interview with former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay.

Chris reportedly received an eight-figure payout after leaving the franchise and months after his exit, Jesse Palmer was named the new host of ‘The Bachelor.’
Back in October, Chris spoke to People about his post-‘Bachelor’ life, as well as his life in Austin, Texas, where he and wife Lauren Zima purchased a home in 2020. Though Chris referred to Austin as “the new Hollywood,” he told the outlet there was “a next chapter coming up very soon” for himself as well as his former Entertainment Tonight host wife.
“ … We’re going to be very excited to talk about [it],” he added.
