‘Unexpected’ Star Isabella Leal-Stone Reveals Why She Stayed with Boyfriend Bryce Palmer After He Allegedly Slapped Her; Insists She Won’t “Regret” Her Decision

“No regrets here, y’all!”

Trigger Warning: This story contains mentions of domestic violence.

Unexpected Season 7 star Isabella Leal-Stone is defending her decision to stay with her boyfriend (now fiancé) and baby daddy Bryce Palmer, despite recently recalling an incident in which Bryce allegedly slapped her.

As fans saw on this week’s episode of the TLC series, a then-38-weeks pregnant Isabella revealed to her mom that during an outing at the fair, Bryce allegedly “hit” her.

Isabella explained to her mom that this occurred after she told one of Bryce’s friends to “go away.”

“ … Bryce slapped me and was like, ‘I told you about being friendly’ or something … he said something like that … ,” Isabella claimed.

“…and we definitely ain’t fixing to break up!”

Isabella went on to allege that Bryce was “repeatedly just hitting [her]” during the incident, before insisting that he had only been physically violent towards her that one time.

While speaking to fans on TikTok Live this week, Isabella was asked why she’s still with Bryce in light of the abuse claims, to which she told fans she’s with Bryce simply because she wants to be with him.

“ … because I wanna be, I wanna be with him, that’s why,” she said. “Cause I have a kid with him, I love him. Like, do I need to give you another reason?”

As fans of ‘Unexpected’ know, Isabella and Bryce are parents to daughter Haisley, who was born in May 2025. The couple went on to announce their engagement in February– news that was met by a lot of criticism from fans online who encouraged Isabella not to say “I do.”

Bryce, sharing the news of his and Isabella’s engagement on Facebook in February…

Isabella was met with similar comments this week on TikTok Live, with one person advising Isabella to check Bryce’s social media activity, as they claimed the ‘Unexpected’ dad had recently added them on Snapchat. In response to the concerned fan’s comment, Isabella insisted that she wasn’t worried about Bryce’s alleged wandering eye, as she’s already locked her unemployed man down.

“ … I’m not worried about y’all,” she said. “I got a kid, I got the house, I got the ring, what else? I do not care.”

Bryce, low-key wondering if Isabella just gave him the go-ahead to slide into random women’s DMs…probably…

Isabella also shut down a comment on her Live from someone who claimed that Bryce doesn’t love Isabella. In an effort to backup her argument, the teen mom pointed out to the TikTok troll that Bryce stayed with her after she “went on national television and bashed him.”

“ … [and] you’re telling me he doesn’t love me? Okay,” Isabella said.

Isabella also assured doubtful fans that she won’t regret her decision to stay with her baby daddy.

“ … I promise I won’t,” she said, suggesting that if Bryce were to physically harm her again in the future, she has her brothers-in-law “to take care of [her].”

  1. You will absolutely regret staying with that man child. If he did it once he will most certainly do it again. Don’t be another statistic, you deserve better and so does your daughter. Please don’t let her grow up in an abusive home.

  2. She comes off level headed on the show. I was actually sad to see she had gotten engaged. Bryce is horrible and will never change. And his grandparents have raised him to be an entitled little brat. She did a tik tok a while ago and said she no longer speaks to her mother. Kind of sounds like Bryce is isolating anyone that is against him and his delusional family.

  3. Children playing at being adults.
Real life will hit them hard in the face after their 15 minutes of fame has passed.

  4. Hindsight is always 20/20 and she will eventually look back with sadness at how naive she was at this age.

  5. She’s very young and dumb as most girls are when they are in love (or think they are in love).
It’s useless to warn her because she won’t listen until she hits rock bottom

  6. I was Isabella back when I was her age, so I completely understand. It’s easy to believe, deep down, that you don’t deserve better. I’m sure Bryce reinforces that. She is obviously more intelligent and responsible than he is, but she thinks that eventually he’ll be grateful and love her for who she is. It won’t happen. Whenever she isn’t the perfect, submissive little wife of his fantasies, he’ll just resent her more. She needs therapy to realize that she is worthy and deserves more. Hopefully, she’ll eventually realize that it’s easier (and more fulfilling) to raise a child alone than to raise one with a spoiled, entitled, self-centered moron who you will never be able to fix. It took me a few missteps to realize it before the lesson stuck, but it finally did. I wish the same for her.

      1. My first snarky thought was “the commenter says she is more intelligent than Bryce” … which really ain’t sayin’ much. I have a Garden Weasel that is more sentient than that kid 😂😂😂
