Jenelle Evans recently went on the La Femme Talk podcast to talk to Dr. Rachel Mason— the plastic surgeon responsible for her recent “Mommy Makeover”. Although the former Teen Mom star chatted a lot about her new boobs and belly, she also talked about the “rumors” surrounding her lately, including where she stands with her soulmate-turned-husband-turned-ex-turned-soulmate David Eason, whom Jenelle has insisted she’s just “co-parenting with,” despite posting pics of herself in bed with David, and her hinting that he is back to being her OnlyFans photographer.
As you do as co-parents…
Although Jenelle— who has been back with David since about January— did her best to sidestep direct questions about her status with David, she claimed she has a “new turned leaf” (um) and is making “new memories” with her ex-husband and kids.
Jenelle also spoke about her son Jace’s current whereabouts. (As The Ashley previously told you, Jenelle had kept Jace in a mental health facility for about a month, despite his dad Andrew Lewis and Jenelle’s mom Barbara Evans wanting Jace to be released into their care. Late last month, Jenelle pulled Jace out of the facility and has taken him to an unknown location, according to Andrew. Barbara and Andrew have teamed up against Jenelle and are preparing to fight for custody of Jace.)
Here’s a breakdown of the most-interesting things Jenelle spoke about during the podcast.
On Her Current Relationship Status:
“Right now I’m focusing more on co-parenting with all my exes and trying to make things as civil as possible, and if that means my daughter seeing us getting along and going out to have lunch, dinners, that’s fine with me as long as we can all get along,” Jenelle said.
Jenelle insisted that her kids have seen a lot of toxic incidents but swears that things are different now.
“Coming from my past, you know, there’s a lot of toxicity,” she said. “And for my kids to now see a new, turned leaf, it’s happy.”
When Dr. Mason asked Jenelle straight-out where she stands relationship-wise, Jenelle dodged the question and steered the conversation once again to her “co-parenting” with David.
“Back to co-parenting, that’s the most-important thing for right now because in my past, there was a lot that [my kids] witnessed and saw, and we’re all trying to move past that and we’re all trying to create new memories.”
On Where Her Son Jace Currently Is & How He’s Doing:
When Dr. Mason brought up the topic of Jace, Jenelle decided to reveal a “secret.”
“I’ll let you know something that I haven’t told anyone,” she said. “I’ve been very quiet online but behind the scenes I’ve been actually getting help for my son and he’s in a safe place [with] a holistical approach and he’s very happy right now.”
“And he’s very focused on himself and I think that’s the most important thing,” she added.
“A lot of people think that because I’m being so quiet that I might now be doing anything and not taking action but just know that if I’m quiet, I’m up to somethin’!” she said.
On How She Feels Post-Plastic Surgery:
Jenelle underwent a tummy tuck, lipo and breast augmentation in December and stated that she now feels more confident.
“Dating is a lot better because I’m not so self-conscious about my body,” she said. “Before I was like, ‘Are they gonna care about mom bod?’ And now I feel like I’m back [to] 16 again. I feel like I can wear anything, and every day I’m wearing something like my old clothes, and I notice that it’s more baggier.
(No, that’s not a typo. Jenelle did say “more baggier.”)
Jenelle also claims she’s been going to the gym regularly and is now putting herself “out there” more.
“I kind of feel like a hermit sometimes because I would stay inside so much and I would be like, ‘Everyone’s going to look better than me’ but now I just put something on and go,” she said.
On Getting Hate Online:
Jenelle claimed that she’s trying to be more “private” these days.
“I’m just intentionally protecting my peace, especially because the public can get a little crazy sometimes,” she said. “I feel like, with all the rumors going around, it’s really important for my family to have a little privacy at the moment. I’m trying to protect my family as much as possible but still trying to share bits and pieces of my life because that’s what I do.”
Jenelle stated that she gets a lot of hate over her parenting choices.
“It’s hard to stop something when you have to read so many comments and you know your best intentions as a mother and you know you’re doing the best you can, and to just be constantly beat down sometimes is really hard,” she said, adding that she still continues to post.
“Because then you have to jump back online and keep going.
On Who Watched Her Kids While She Recovered from Plastic Surgery:
Jenelle’s two youngest kids, Kaiser and Ensley, live with her in Las Vegas and had to be looked after while Jenelle was recovering from being carved up. When the doctor asked Jenelle how she found people to take care of her kids while she recovered, she had an interesting answer.
“For me, it was to reach out to friends and family first,” Jenelle said.
(Jenelle does not speak to any members of her family and has a very strained relationship with her mom—who lives across the country in North Carolina— so it’s unknown what ‘family’ she’s referring to here.)
She said she had two friends come to help with the kids for a week each. After those friends left, Jenelle stated that she turned to her trusty babysitter, care.com.
“If I needed someone to tidy up the house or a babysitter, I actually used care.com,” Jenelle said. “They do background checks and everything! They’re great. You know, you just post your job and then you have 30 people asking if they could babysit! That helped out a lot… I’ve been using them for six months.”

“Focusing on co-parenting with all my exes.” Um… your definitely not with Andrew and Nathan is in jail so… 🤷♀️ Though she could be co-parenting with Doris as it does seem like the two do communicate. Kaiser has gone to visit her multiple times. But honestly, I would NOT want to co-parent with my abuser and would want to keep my child(ren) we share together, far away from him. In fact, would do everything to keep that from happening. This is about Nathan too as he’s in jail for attempted murder/abuse as well. In those cases, co-parent with the family if possible.
Unrelated, but… could David be blackmailing her into getting back together and doing all these things? It is something an abuser would do. I know Jenelle has always been problematic but she had turned her life around there for a bit and then suddenly, it all went away. I don’t know.

If Jenelle is so intent on coparenting with ALL her kids’ fathers, why is she battling Andrew and putting him down at every chance she gets? Why isn’t she taking Andrew to dinner and lunches, or having him tag along on family outings? Why isn’t she taking Kaiser to see his father or staying in touch with Nathan’s family? Where are the invitations to meals and outings for Doris? Why isn’t Andrew having sleepovers at Jenelle’s? We all know why. It’s because she’s not coparenting with David, she’s screwing him again. Her wedding rings on full display on her hand tells the whole story. She’s a lying liar who lies. And I don’t believe that Jace is in a safe mental health facility either. My guess is that Jenelle sent him to a boot camp for wayward kids so there’s no chance he’ll have access to phones or computers to reach out for help or spill the beans on what’s happening. I hope Andrew and Barb at least get the court to force Jenelle into returning Jace to NC. I hope they end up with custody, but I’ll settle for making her return him to North Carolina immediately. I also hope she gets blasted by the judge for taking him out of state to begin with, and for repeatedly lying under oath to get restraining orders against people she’s pissed at.
As for that plastic surgeon, she should be embarrassed. Jenelle’s belly button now sits on her breastbone. Her boobs still look like they’re pointing in different directions and are uneven. Her arms, thighs and hips are flabby and huge, and her abdomen looks like a Dr. Frankenstein experiment. Jenelle’s idea of going to the gym is buying a 1000 calorie smoothie & sitting in the massage chair. She’s not anywhere near her old weight or shape and I wish someone would step up and tell her.
