More information has been released about the upcoming episode of “Hollywood Demons” that will provide updates on many of the girls from “16 and Pregnant“– and now we have our first preview clip of the episode, which will air next week!
As The Ashley told you in March, the docuseries will cover the “dark side” of the MTV reality show and… it will feature The Ashley! The episode— called “Surviving 16 and Pregnant”— will air on Investigation Discovery (ID), as well as HBO Max and cover “16 and Pregnant” in-depth, revealing what was going on during filming, as well as what has become of the girls from the show in the decade-plus since they appeared on MTV.
The preview for the episode was released on Monday (at the end of that week’s episode).
It confirmed many of the girls who will be featured, including Season 3’s Danielle Cunningham, Season 4’s Hope Harbert, Season 5’s Aleah LeBeouf and Kristina Robinson of Season 4. The Ashley can also reveal that Season 4’s Maddy Godsey (aka “the girl who shaved her widow’s peak”) and Karley Deatherage will also appear, as will several other girls.
Dr. Drew Pinsky— who hosted all of the “16 and Pregnant” Reunion specials (as well as the ones for the Teen Mom shows)– will also be featured on it.

In the preview clip, several girls talk about signing up for the show because they thought they would become “rich and famous.”
“Don’t think the show helps as much as we think,” Kristina says.
“All we’re seeing is crisis, chaos and alleged criminal activity,” a pop culture journalist states.
Later in the preview, Kristina— who is best-remembered because her episode was filmed immediately after her baby daddy passed away from drowning— talks about how she was basically accused of murdering her boyfriend.

One of the girls who didn’t take part in the documentary is Mackenzie McKee. She recently discussed the show on Snapchat, stating that she was contacted to be on it but turned it down.
Mack told fans that “all of [the] teen moms were asked” to participate in the project, but some (like herself) opted not to appear in the docuseries because they only have positive things to say about their “16 and Pregnant” experience.

“There were red flags about this one because we knew that they were not trying to shine it in a positive light, so I’m really curious to see how this turns out,” Mackenzie told fans.
After noting that she not only appeared on “16 and Pregnant,” but also Teen Mom 3 and “multiple seasons of ‘Teen Mom OG,’” Mackenzie claimed that she was “treated like a queen” while filming “16 & Pregnant,” as those who worked on the series “were literally like family.” She also stated that getting to appear on one of the “16 and Pregnant” spin-offs was something coveted among cast members.
“ … every single [person] who was on ‘16 and Pregnant’ wishes they were also asked to be on ‘Teen Mom’ and that’s just my opinion,” Mackenzie explained. “No one was asked and said no, no one turned it down. So, I don’t know. I’m just curious to see what kind of trash talk that they come out and do, because we were treated like princesses.”
