Thais Ramon’s Domestic Battery Charges Dropped; Co-Star Shekinah Guven Calls for Thais’ Deportation, Starting “90 Day Fiance” Star Feud (Recap)

Coming soon: “90 Day: Fight Club”

Just three days after her arrest for domestic battery, Thais Ramon’s charges have been dropped—but not before her arrest caused a weekend-long feud among several “90 Day Fiance” cast members!

The Ashley reported on Saturday that Thais was arrested in Clark County, Nevada, on Friday which happened to be the same day the news broke that her husband Patrick Mendes filed for divorce and full legal custody of their three-year-old daughter, Aleesi.

(The Ashley also shared that Thais had reportedly not yet been served divorce papers at the time TMZ broke the news, so she very well could have found out Patrick filed from reading it online– yikes!)

On Monday, Starcasm exclusively reported that Thais’s charges were dropped, with the court docket citing “DA Denial” for the dismissal. An expert based in Nevada spoke to the site and explained that DA Denial occurs when the district attorney’s office reviews the case and decides not to file criminal charges. Prosecutors still have the option to open the case against Thais even though the DA chose to deny her charges.

“Thank goodness! Now if I could only get Patrick to drop that pesky divorce filing.”

Patrick and Thais will appear on Season 3 of “90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort”, which is set to premiere next week. They joined five other struggling couples in a castle in England to “work on their intimacy and address Thais’ continuous requests to move back to her home country of Brazil before she moves without him.”

In the trailer for the upcoming season, audiences saw a rivalry brewing between Thais and Shekinah Guven– whose marriage also ended after filming (although she still refers to Sarper Guven as her husband). In a scene seemingly taking place outside of the castle, Thais is shown telling Shekinah to “shut her mouth,” to which Shekinah responds, “Go back to your country.” (Thais is from Brazil and Patrick met her on a dating app while looking for a Portuguese teacher.)

Shekinah is apparently bringing this same energy over a year after this was filmed…

Shekinah and Thais’ feud continued into the past weekend, after Shekinah publicly called for Thais’ deportation after hearing about her arrest for domestic battery. (The Ashley will do her best to recap all of the “90 Day” nonsense that has gone on between the ladies online.)

After “90 Day” Instagrammer @shabootydotcom shared a screenshot from Thais’s most-recent Instagram post of her crying along with a comment from Shekinah saying, “She’s a violent person. Deport her ass,” things among the “90 Day” rivals exploded into a full-on social media feud. Several other “90 Day: The Last Resort” stars also jumped in to defend Thais and slam Shekinah for her comments.

Thais herself responded to Shekinah’s deportation comments in the comment section of the @shabootydotcom post.

“Everyone has had the ‘opportunity’ to deal with this insufferable woman, and nobody can stand being around her for even 10 minutes, she wrote of Shekinah. “Not even the ‘90 Day’ crew itself can stand this b*tch, she’s a total high school mean girl.”

Yara Zaya chimed in on the post, writing, “Shekinah is ready to deport everybody. So ridiculous.”

“[Thais] is one of the most-genuine, kindhearted people I’ve met being a part of this network,” added Kara Bass. “I’m so proud of her as a mom and a person as a whole.”

Thais then reposted a screenshot of Shekinah’s comment on her Instagram story and wrote, “No surprise that we have a racist in the cast. A [b*tch] mean girl, don’t forget NO ONE can stand you, not even 10 [minutes], we all know that lol.”

Paola Mayfield then took to Instagram to join in on the feud.

“It’s always funny to me when the people causing the most drama behind the scenes try the hardest to look innocent online,” she wrote. “Calling another woman ‘violent’ while saying ‘deport her ass’ is disgusting and says more about you than anyone else. Some people throw shade, act jealous, gossip nonstop, then suddenly become the victim the second people respond. What y’all see online is not always who someone really is in real life… and some of us know the real Shekinah. The fake classy act only works on people who haven’t seen the behavior behind the scenes.”

Shekinah then reposted Kara’s story and wrote, “No, you s**t starters don’t know ‘the real Shekinah’ cause in all those weeks we spent together, you never tried to get to know me. You just bonded over your mutual hatred [of] me. So go side with your unhinged friend who assaults people. That says a lot about YOU.”

Shekinah continued to post quotes and “words of wisdom” on her Instagram story seemingly related to Thais and her supporters, calling them “MEAN girls”, victims, and even posted one quote that said, “I’ve never been hated by a baddie, it’s always some neglected animal.”

She then posted a statement addressing allegations of racism and xenophobia.

“Some people, including former cast members, bots, and fake accounts, have started calling me anti-immigrant and racist. That accusation is completely unfair and far from who I am,” she wrote. “I have a Hispanic daughter and an immigrant husband, and many immigrant exes, friends and family.

“I would be one of the last people to stand against immigrants of any ethnicity.”

She also addressed the incident with Thais.

“Every action has a reaction and consequences. You cannot be violent towards people in this country and expect no response. My words are not directed at the Hispanic community, Brazilians or any race or ethnicity,” she concluded. “My comments are completely personal and related only to specific individuals and situations.”

She went on to post a screenshot depicting “Female ‘90 Day Fiance’ Cast Members Who Support [Domestic Violence],” including Kara, Yara Zaya, and Amani Jlassi and their comments on @shabootydotcom’s post in support of Thais. Shekinah captioned the story, “The girl-group I would never be in. Supporting DV and bonding over mutual hatred. Who raised you??”

Patrick has not yet responded to any of the drama surrounding Thais’ arrest. The divorce case remains pending.

“90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort” premieres Monday, June 1 on TLC.

The “90 Day Fiance” producers watching this all go down and realizing they’ll get at least another season out of all this drama…

  1. Shekinah posted on social media bald spots that were ripped out of her head by her husband, she also said he was abusive and then went back to him and even made a social media post saying that she was forgiving him. So by her logic I guess Sarper is “a violent person. Deport his ass. Period”. She really should use her brain before she makes hypocritical posts.
