Nick Cannon knows that many of his fans believe that Bri Tiesi is his favorite baby mama, but the father of 12 insists that is not the case.
Nick— who has a dozen kids by a half-dozen women (including Bri)— appeared on The Breakfast Club radio show this week, where the topic turned to his plethora of baby mamas. When one of the show’s hosts, DJ Envy, stated that— based on what’s posted to social media— Nick appears to favor Bri the most, Nick disagreed but stated that he understands why people might think that.
He also discussed if all six of his baby mamas will be participating in his upcoming Netflix reality show (which has a working title of “Cannons House of Cards.”)

For those in need of a refresher on the Cannon Kid Count, Nick has son Legendary Love with the “Selling Sunset” star. Nick also has three kids with Abby De La Rosa (twin sons Zion and Zillion and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin), and is the father of 15-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He shares sons Golden Saigon and Rise Messiah and daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell, and has daughter Onyx Ice with model LaNisha Cole. Finally, he shares daughter Halo with model Alyssa Scott. (Nick and Alyssa are also parents to son Zen, who died from a brain tumor at five months old in 2021.)
“You have a bunch of childrens’ moms,” DJ Envy told Nick. “But it seems like on social media you only favor one.”
“Why do people say that?” Nick asked, before going on to explain why Bri appears on his social media more than some of the others.
“One, because she’s famous,” Nick said.

When it was pointed out that Bri herself has stated that she’s “Number 1” (in terms of Nick Cannon baby cannons), Nick said that all six of the women who have had his children “should feel like Number 1.”

Nick admitted that he and Bri do a lot more skits and posts on social media together, but he argued that it is only because Bri is “in that space” because she’s famous for appearing on “Selling Sunset” and that it has nothing to do with her being his favorite baby mama.
“The reason people say that, and I see that, is because she’s in media like that. Social media is part of her business,” Nick explained. “So she’s always posting. Where, I have some of the mothers of my children who really want to be private and don’t want to [put themselves out there publicly].”
As The Ashley reported, it was announced last month that a new docuseries is coming to Netflix this winter that will give the world a look into Nick’s life as the father to a cornucopia of kids— and baby daddy to a gaggle of women.

During his interview with The Breakfast Club, Nick revealed that not all of his baby mamas are thrilled about his new show.
“Even with this Netflix doc, they were like, ‘Yo, I don’t want to be a part of it,'” he said. “One of the mothers of my children— or three of my children, actually— she’s literally a psychologist, and in the space with, like, children and stuff. She’s like, ‘This isn’t good for my actual career, to always be looked at as ‘one of the baby mamas.'”
(Nick is speaking about Brittany Bell, who is a Doctor of Clinical Psychology. She is the mother of three of Nick’s kids.)
“I’m probably at that household and with those kids more than anybody…” Nick said. “And she was like, ‘I don’t want cameras and all that [in the house]…and if I do, I want to be able to control the narrative because I’m a doctor.’ And I was like, ‘I’ve got to respect that.’ But with someone like Bri, we’re gonna do skits, we’re gonna go out on red carpets, because we’re both in the same industry that do that type of stuff.”
Nick insisted that his “goal is to love everyone as equally as possible”— something he says we’ll see exhibited on his Netflix docuseries.
When co-host Jess Hilarious asked Nick if he ever sees himself being together with Bri, Nick angrily responded, “We’re together!”
“Everyone knows I’m never getting married again, so I feel like these are my life partners,” he said. “I feel like I’ve got to deal with them for the rest of my life.”
“But I’m talking about in a relationship,” she responded.
“I’m in a relationship with everybody!” Nick insisted.
When co-host Charlamagne tha God asked Nick if he has a “soulmate or mates,” Nick stated, “That word has got me in trouble a lot!”
“I do feel like I have a soul connection with all the mothers of my children. But then, the idea of what a ‘soulmate’ is, is like, ‘You’re my one and only.’ Clearly I don’t have a one and only.”
Over the years, fans have watched with intrigue (and, at times, disgust) as many of Nick’s baby mamas have posted perfectly posed family photos with Nick to social media, with several of them seemingly being in some sort of “relationship” with him, despite him having other families and relationships happening concurrently.
In an interview earlier this year, Abby said that Nick “calls the shots” when it comes to the kids interacting with each other. She stated that he will ask if he can bring certain kids over for play dates with his other children, at which point the parents involved and/or nannies will work to accommodate their time together. According to her, this has resulted in all parties being “pretty happy,” while also somehow providing her with a sense of monogamy.
“We all live very individual lives, so in a sense, it feels monogamous,” she explained.

Moroccan Cannon?
Golden Cannon?
LEGENDARY Cannon?!
You cannot tell me that Nick wasn’t trolling these women a little bit. All of those boys are gonna be the talk of their high school 🙄
PS @theashley: following precedent, does Nick Cannon then have baby mommii ala Kails baby daddii? 😆
Barf. It’s entertaining to read about this clown on The Ashley but I sure won’t be watching this mess and contributing to ratings. Although I can’t wait to read the Ashley’s recaps. The sad thing is the dumpster fire show will probably get good ratings since it’s a freak show
Loved the Mariah captions!
HOLD UP, you mean to tell me one of the women who chose to be just another baby mama and have kids with stupid names like Powerful Queen and Rise Messiah is a DOCTOR?!?!?!?!
