After more than a month of online speculation, Vanderpump Rules alum James Kennedy is confirming that he and Jordan Meyers, his girlfriend of eight months, are expecting their first child together.  

“We are thrilled to share that Jordan and I are expecting our first child together,” James confirmed in a statement to People. “We have previously kept our relationship out of the public eye, and this is the first time we’re sharing it publicly. 

“We wanted to keep things personal while we were building our relationship together, and we’ve shared this news privately with close friends and family for some time now,” he added. 

The 34-year-old DJ and 23-year-old North Carolina native reportedly met last year through Instagram and Jordan went on to attend one of James’ shows before the two officially began dating. 

While the couple’s relationship is relatively new, Jordan, who is currently four months pregnant, told the outlet that she and her baby-daddy-to-be “instantly felt such a strong spark” upon meeting. So much, in fact, that Jordan said her three-day visit with James “has now turned into eight months together.” 

“Watching our love grow and preparing to become parents together has been the most incredible experience,” she added. 

While this is the first time that James has publicly confirmed both his relationship with Jordan and the baby allegations, a source told TMZ in May that the two had recently held a celebration in honor of Jordan’s pregnancy. 

“We’re told the couple marked the milestone with a themed gathering among their inner circle, signaling just how quickly their relationship has progressed,” the source claimed. 

As for why he and Jordan are no longer keeping their romance under wraps, James explained that as the two “prepare for this next chapter,” now felt like the right time to share their relationship “more widely.” 

“This is an incredibly special and meaningful time for us, and we feel deeply grateful to be stepping into this new chapter surrounded by love and support from our family and friends,” he added. 

As ‘Vanderpump Rules’ fans are aware, James’ past relationships were very high-profile. When fans met the then-22-year-old SUR busboy in Season 3, he was dating OG cast member Kristen Doute, though the toxic twosome ultimately called it quits in Season 4. A year later, James began dating Rachel Leviss, whom he proposed to (and later split from) in 2021. After his engagement ended, James began a relationship with astrologer Ally Lewber. James and Ally dated for about three years and lived together until their split in January 2025. Following a series of failed relationships, James described this next chapter of his life with Jordan as both “grounding and exciting.” 

“ … We’re looking forward to everything ahead,” he said. “As we get ready to welcome our baby, we’re focused on embracing all of the joy, growth, and change that comes with being parents.” 

“I’m so excited for all the beautiful memories still to come,” Jordan added. “We are already so in love with our little one!”
