“90 Day Fiancé” Producer Steps In As Season 12 Couple Mido Fayed & Debby Rolando Get Into Explosive Altercation On-Camera

“…but the REAL horror is happening afterwards!”

A heated argument between Debby Rolando and Mido Fayed during Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé caused a producer of the TLC series to step in at the end of the episode just moments before Debby drove off, leaving her irate Egyptian fiancé to call a ride share.

As fans of “90 Day Fiancé” know, Season 12 has followed 41-year-old Egyptian actor Mido’s arrival to the United States, where he and his 55-year-old fiancé Debby are attempting to make their relationship work, despite Debby’s friends and family doubting Mido’s intentions.

Following the events of Sunday’s episode, it’s safe to assume that Debby’s loved ones are doubting the pair’s relationship more than ever.

Clueless? Exhausting? Acting like a child? Take your pick.

Prior to the couple’s clash, viewers watched Mido attend an acting class, where he received less-than encouraging feedback regarding his American acting aspirations. Later on, Mido and Debby donned matching Halloween costumes and headed to a haunted house, where Mido would be meeting two of Debby’s friends, Laura and Astra. On the way to the outing, Mido made it clear that he wasn’t concerned about making a good impression on Debby’s friends and even admitted that he didn’t care if Laura and Astra liked him.

Well, she wasn’t wrong…

After arriving to the Halloween venue, Debby’s pals (and Debby herself) seemed somewhat confused by Mido’s lively behavior inside the haunted house, though things became even more confusing when Laura rode with the couple to a nearby bar afterwards and Mido opted to stay completely silent during the drive.

“Though to be fair, we knew that right from the moment that Debby told us, ‘I met this guy online.'”

After arriving to the bar, Debby and her friend exited the vehicle to meet their other friend, while Mido chose to stay in the vehicle alone, visibly annoyed. Debby explained to viewers that she typically gives Mido his space when he gets into these moods, as she knows that confronting him will only make things worse.

“Once he begins to convert into this personality, I don’t even try to have conversations with him, because if I push a conversation, it’s not gonna be pretty,” Debby said. “It’s gonna get ugly quick.

“I usually take 10 steps back and let him wear himself out, because I know engaging in that situation is gonna end up being a bad scene,” she continued, before admitting that she was “so embarrassed” by Mido’s behavior.

Debby really picked a winner.

When Debby eventually returned to the vehicle, she was met by a still-hostile Mido, who insisted that if anyone should be upset, it’s him, as he gave up everything to be in the United States with her. Mido not only questioned why Debby was upset, he also refused to explain why he was being “so rude” to her and her friends. He went on to tell her that he didn’t need anything from her and shushed her when she attempted to speak.

As the back-and-forth continued, Debby told Mido she wouldn’t tolerate the way he was speaking to her and even agreed at one point that Mido should get an Uber and ride home alone. Mido went on to respond to Debby’s comments with a “f**k you,” at which point Debby proclaimed that she was done with the “whole f**king thing” and that Mido would be returning home to Egypt.

At this point, a producer stepped in to try to settle the discourse, while also trying to figure out what exactly was going on between the couple.

“…and more importantly, did we get it all on camera?!”

Both Mido and Debby went on to exit the vehicle while Mido continued shouting and cursing at Debby. Mido was then confronted by Debby’s friend Astra, who exchanged some words with Mido before telling him, “That’s not how you treat women in America, mother f**ker!”

At the end of the episode, Debby ended up hopping back into her car and driving off, leaving Mido to find his own ride home. As Debby drove off, Mido– still dressed in his Halloween costume– issued a final “f**k you” to his fed-up fiancé.

UPDATE! On Monday, Mido posted to his Instagram account, seemingly in response to fans’ reaction to him being disrespectful to Debby. (He conveniently turned off the comment section for the post.)

‘I respect all women,” he wrote. “I hold all the women of the world in high regard and respect. The woman is among the most beautiful and delicate of things. Without women, men would not exist. The Egyptian woman 🇪🇬 was the first woman in the world to rule. Women in Egypt are the greatest women in the world; they manage the household while the men work. If the women also work, the men help with the housework.

“When they asked me about doing chores, my answer was if a woman doesn’t work she takes care of the home and the children. If the woman also works both the man and the woman helps in the home. I respect all women,” he continued. “With regards and love have a good life.”

“Um….alright then.”

  1. I am so tired of these Older, white, women, being so Delusional, & Desperate for “Love”!!! Looking for it in all the wrong places!!! And with much Younger men from foreign countries!!! Mido Sucks!!! Wake up Debby!!!

    1. What does race have to do with it and why did you have to bring that into the conversation? 🙄

      1. Do you even watch the show? At least on the show it is nearly exclusively an older white woman (or man) with a younger, most often not white, fiancé or fiancée.
