“90 Day Fiance” Stars Brandan & Mary DeNuccio Welcome Second Child; Ask Fans for Donations to Cover Medical Costs

“Well…here we are again.”

It’s another girl…and another fundraiser for Brandan and Mary DeNuccio.

The “90 Day Fiance: The Other Way” stars announced on Facebook that they welcomed their second baby girl, Summer, via C-section this week. Brandan shared that Mary was recovering well, but  Summer had required medical intervention after her birth, something Brandan and Mary say have cost them a lot of money.

The couple documented the moments leading up to Summer’s birth and Brandan gave a video update after the procedure.

“So, 10 minutes after showing up to the room, Summer started turning purple,” he recounted. “So, they got her to stabilize after an hour and they hooked her up [to] some oxygen. They got IV glucose and dextrose hooked up and every 30 minutes they’re going to come here and check Summer’s vitals.”

“[We] had a very, very, very big scare,” he continued. “Your mind goes to dark places when bad things happen, but she’s okay now.”

Baby Summer…

Just two hours later, Brandan gave another update to share that Summer was having trouble breathing perhaps due to fluid buildup in her chest. He later updated again to let fans know that Summer was breathing properly after being put on a “pressurized oxygen” machine.

In a now-deleted Facebook post, Mary and Brandan asked their fans to donate money to their Ko-Fi fundraiser to help cover their family’s medical expenses.

“We came prepared for our hospital stay and had money saved, but we did not expect our baby girl Summer to need extra care in the NICU due to breathing difficulties,” they wrote. “What we thought would be a short hospital stay has turned into something much longer and more expensive than we anticipated.

“Keep the prayers— and the cash— coming!”

“Today, on our first day in the hospital with Summer, we were given a partial bill because we have already reached the maximum coverage limit,” they continued. “Our current balance is ₱33,000 for Mary and ₱35,000 for Summer, for a total of ₱68,000 (about $1,100 USD). As parents, all we want is for Summer to get the care she needs and to bring our baby home healthy. We are humbly asking for any help, prayers, or support you can give to help us continue Mary’s recovery and Summer’s medications and treatments in the NICU.”

The couple thanked their fans for their prayers and donations.

“Every share, prayer, and contribution means more to us than words can express. Thank you for standing with our family during one of the hardest moments of our lives,” they concluded.

While it is unknown why Brandan and Mary deleted their fundraiser post, the couple did provide an update on Wednesday.

“We just want to say thank you to everyone for all the love, prayers, support, and kindness you’ve shown our family during this time,” they wrote. “There may be some people who judge or spread negativity, but there are twice as many people who love us, support us, and understand our situation. For that, we are truly grateful. Thank you for every prayer, message, donation, and word of encouragement. It means more to us than you know.

“Please continue to keep our little Summer in your prayers. We believe that soon we will be bringing her home healthy, strong, and surrounded by so much love. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all so much.”

The criticism that Mary and Brandon received from fans may have been due to the fact that this is not the first time they’ve asked for money online.  Just two years ago, the couple caused quite the scandal after they posted a fundraiser for Mary, who claimed she had been diagnosed with colon cancer.

One of Brandan’s fundraising posts from 2024…

In February 2024, Mary (falsely) claimed that she had colon cancer, telling fans “the doctor said [it] needs to be removed before it’s too late.”

Brandan created a fundraiser and raised over $1,300 USD before walking back on their claims and revealing that Mary had not actually been diagnosed with colon cancer. He also admitted that Mary had come to the conclusion that she had “colon cancer” by watching TikTok videos about the disease.

No. Seriously…

“Just to be clear: we don’t know if Mary has colon cancer yet,” Brandan eventually admitted. “She posted on her IG that she [has] colon cancer because she [watched] TikTok videos of what [are] the symptoms of colon cancer and she [had] all of it, and on Feb 16 we went to the center [to] have her checkup and the nurse said maybe she got UTI or appendicitis and a possible colon cancer. That’s why Mary is scared.”

“Thanks a lot, Dr. TikTok!”

The website eventually removed the fundraiser; however, Mary admitted that she had already spent the money raised.

The couple apologized to fans and insisted they did not mean to deceive them. (Mary stated that, although she did not have colon cancer, she was diagnosed with an inflamed liver, a blood infection, a UTI and hemorrhoids.)

“90 Day Fiance” fans met Brandan and Mary on Season 5 of “90 Day Fiance: The Other Way” as they followed their relationship journey as Brandan uprooted his life from Oregon to move to The Philippines. The couple married in 2023, just four months before welcoming Midnight.

  1. Why doesn’t he just come back to the US to work for a few months? $1100 is nothing. He could probably work seasonally and make enough in a few months to support his family there.

    1. Mary doesn’t want him out of her sight for any amount of time. They are both co-dependent on one another.

  2. It’s really disconcerting that apparently NONE of the lessons they’ve had so far have sunk in. Absolutely none.

  3. Why on God’s green earth would you have ANOTHER child if you weren’t prepared to potentially cover the cost of an emergency, let alone FEED the existing one? With little ones, emergencies aren’t that unusual either and C sections happen all the time… And I do NOT mean this towards the baby (who is an innocent victim in this), but maybe this is… Karma? Maybe Mary shouldn’t have lied about having cancer in an attempt to receive money, because now that you REALLY need that money, no one is going to take you seriously.

  4. Fool us once….
Get a job or ask your family.
Or better yet don’t have kids you can’t afford!

    1. @ellen ~$1100 REALLY isn’t costly at all, though? 🤷🏼‍♀️
(agree that healthcare system in general is a mess)

  5. so wait ~ am i to believe that two (supposed) adults, who are already parents, don’t have a measly $1100?!?! seriously?!? they don’t have ANYTHING set aside?
WTF is wrong with these losers? didn’t they get paid for being on the show?
**disclaimer that i don’t watch anything in the 90DF-verse. from reading here on theashley, it seems these two dumbf*cks constantly have their hands out begging. i literally canNOT believe that (obviously stupid) people fall for their grift.

  6. I’d never give them a cent. My uncle and dad died of pancreatic cancer when it was too late to save them. $&$@& them

  7. There was another fundraiser asking for money for food, saying they couldn’t afford to feed Midnights.
They got dogged for that one and also took it down.
So good they took responsibility for their finances and brought another child in to this world.

  8. They can’t afford to take care of themselves and the child they already had. Extremely stupid to then have another baby they can’t afford. No one is going to support their household and their children.
